The Hidden Enemy

The Hidden Enemy

Guessing what might have caused his hair to be so messed up, he must have used his hand to mess up his hair because he does that when he was confused or when he had something on his mind bothering him and with the look of it, I knew he had run his hand through his hair time and time again because he was bothered. My eyes fell on the floor as he move closer not because I was a little intimidated by him but because I realised I knew certain things about him that I had unconsciously taken note of him and it was terrifying. He stares at me for a very long time without saying anything. His shoulders were still tensed, I could feel the tension and weight he carried, accompanied by his Cologne oozi

Secrets of Time

Secrets of Time

Learn how to hide and protect yourselves, you idiots. I kept on flipping the book, finding something that seems so interesting. I love reading so maybe I can just read for now even if it'll just end up worthless. I have nothing to do anyway. I'll just continue my hunt to that bastard the moment the sun rises tomorrow. I really love reading books about history and maybe this will help me with my boredom and give me a lot of energy for my battle tomorrow. I read some pages till my eyes landed on an illustration which seems to be erased now if I'll touch it. It has something written in it but it's already blurry. It's visible how many years it has already passed.

Alpha Erik

Alpha Erik

Some visions from the past that I refused to acknowledge others were ones I hadn't looked at in the previous six years. A new book appeared at the top of the shelf. It was an uncertain outcome, the vision I had just seen in my office. I reached for it; the cover was the colour of blood and felt warm beneath my fingers. I flipped it open and allowed it to pull me in. I felt my body vanish as the world around me shifted and morphed into the place I had just seen. I tuned out the noise as I concentrated on details. The clock on the oven read seven-thirty. I gritted my teeth as I tried to spot some way to tell what day it was.

Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

ONCE A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE LUNA NOW THE DEMON ALPHA'S BRIDE

ONCE A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE LUNA NOW THE DEMON ALPHA'S BRIDE

He returned to reading, and just like that I became invisible. Five minutes passed. Nothing. He continued reading. I continued standing. Ten minutes. Still nothing. My feet were beginning to hurt. I coughed. Loudly. No reaction. I sighed dramatically. Nothing. Was he seriously pretending I didn't exist? I glanced around the room. It was beautiful. Dark wood shelves stretched from floor to ceiling, books of every size filling them. Maps. Ancient paintings. Strange weapons hung neatly along one wall. There was even a globe sitting in one corner, its surface worn smooth in places. I took a few careful steps toward one of the shelves. "So many books..." His voice cut through the silence. "Touch

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

Maintained the specific invisibility of someone who has been invisible their entire life and knows exactly what it requires: not performing absence, but actually being unremarkable, actually being furniture, actually having nothing about your presence that would cause a pattern-recognition system — human or otherwise — to flag you as worth examining. I was very good at this. I was good at it for three weeks. The routine inspection happened on a Thursday. I knew it was coming — imperial ships ran inspections on documented schedules, and I had been reading the posted schedules since the second day. I had positioned myself in the labor worker line correctly, head angled down, hands at my sides,

The Last White Wolf & Her Chosen Kings

The Last White Wolf & Her Chosen Kings

“Auren and Kael. Riven and Draken. Me, Tarin, and Thessaly.” My stomach twisted tighter, but I just nodded. “We don’t engage,” she warned. “Invisible, in and out. We watch, we listen, we learn. And we come back alive.” Tarin slid a tray of vials across the table, liquid the color of smoke swirling inside. “Two hours of invisibility. Don’t waste it.”

The Lacrosse Player Next Door

The Lacrosse Player Next Door

He is a hot kisser, and I wondered what it would feel like if those pink full lips of his touched mine. I shook my head, discarding the thought from my mind. It was something that would never happen. I took my favorite book from the table, trying to get lost in the book, but I stopped halfway and tossed it aside. I needed to grow up and stop reading stuff that pulled me out of the real world. Furthermore, I would never have a chance with Jack. I'm just an invisible girl he would never notice. To stop myself from thinking about him, I put on my headphones and lay on the bed to sleep.

ALPHA DORIAN

ALPHA DORIAN

Here, in the dim light, I saw a row of old, leather-bound books that looked like they hadn't been touched in centuries. My heart raced as I reached for the first book, feeling its weight in my hands. I flipped open the cover, my eyes widening as I read the title: "The Secrets of the Night: A Guide to the Mystical Creatures of the Dark." With a gasp, I realized that I had found exactly what I had been looking for. I spent the next few hours devouring the contents of the book, her eyes darting across the pages as she absorbed every detail. It was like a veil had been lifted from her eyes, and she was seeing the world in a whole new way.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The recognition was the recognition of someone who was in the being. He said: "The argument is invisible." Don looked at him. "You have made the argument invisible by making it the form," Ernest said. "The reader who is inside a long accumulation will feel it in the reading — the recognition of what the ordinary day contains. The reader who is not inside a long accumulation will appreciate the writing but not fully find the argument." He held Don's gaze. "This is the most honest book because the argument is only available to the reader who has earned it."

Bonded to Alpha Darius

The rumors had taken on a life of their own. Elara noticed it the moment she stepped out of the house that morning. It was in the way conversations shifted when she walked past — not stopping entirely, just adjusting, dropping in volume and changing direction the way water moved around a stone. She had experienced invisibility in this pack for most of her life and she knew its particular texture well enough to recognize immediately when it had been replaced by something else. She was no longer invisible. She was not sure yet whether that was better or worse.
