I Was Here

I Was Here

I saw a bright light coming from inside of the house. The first time I traveled time, Eric and that little girl with the red balloon they did not see me. I think whenever I travel time, I am invisible to anyone since I am not a part of that timeline. Well, that makes perfect sense. I love the thought if being invisible, I think it’s awesome. And most likely this time no one will notice me too. You can do it Irina, I said to myself.

ECHOES OF THE PAST

ECHOES OF THE PAST

"Evan's obsessed and dangerous and we don't know what he's capable of now." "I know," I assured him. "But I need to do this. I need to look him in the eye, even if he can't see me looking back." I closed my eyes and focused on that familiar sensation of slipping between the cracks of reality. The world shimmered and blurred and when I opened my eyes again, I was invisible, a ghost in the Parisian evening. The walk to Evan's building took fifteen minutes and I moved carefully through streets that were busy with evening pedestrians and early diners.

Bound by secrets, Broken by love

Bound by secrets, Broken by love

Headed to the most crowded part of the rooftop, I crouch low beside a bush of lavender, hidden by a grove of shrubs, pressing myself against the cool brick wall, trying to shrink into invisibility. My heart beats so hard that I hear it above my own breathing. I squeeze my eyes shut, praying to the Moon Goddess to turn me invisible for just a few minutes. Minutes tick—or maybe they’re seconds. I don’t know, since time seems to drag slowly. Pensive silence shrouds the ambience of the space, a creepy stillness stopping me from letting out my breath out. The door slowly creaks. I blink. Did I, or did I not, shut the door? Maybe it was that breeze or…?

THE BANISHED LUNA

THE BANISHED LUNA

**The Banished Luna** **Chapter 1 — Shadows Before the Moon** The moonlight poured through the narrow window, silvering the dust that hung in the air. I tugged my worn cloak tighter around my shoulders as I stacked the last bundle of herbs on the healer’s table. My fingertips were raw from picking nettles all afternoon, but the sting was nothing compared to the constant ache of being invisible. Invisible — except when I was a problem. “Aria, you’re slow again.” The healer’s sharp voice snapped me from my thoughts. She didn’t look up from grinding roots in her mortar. “If you can’t keep up, I’ll tell Beta Rowan to find someone else.”

Offered to the Triplet Alphas

Offered to the Triplet Alphas

The prince let go of me, and I forced myself to my feet. The throne shadows turned violent. Madness’ crimson eyes swept across the graveyard, raking the thin air, hunting every inch to find me. As I staggered toward the graveyard’s gate, no one turned to look at me. No one noticed me when I walked past them — I was indeed invisible. A thunderous growl rumbled through the dark storm. In search of me, darkness bled into the air, tendrils of shadows lashing and twisting to strangle the winds and capture whatever they might be hiding.

Updates are really slow. I couldn’t remember story line completely and had to go back and read several chapters to get back up to speed. Please update regularly. It’s a really good story and losing the audience due to delayed updates is a shame.

Like other comments, loved the storyline and characters BUT updates are extremely slow. So slow that I had to go back and reread the last couple of chapters before reading new material. Won’t continue story if next update takes so long.

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

I pretended like I didn't hear him because I'm very well aware that it is not the right place to let out my pride. That's how we both started to search the book named "The Hidden secrets." until 2 O'clock but the damn book nowhere to find. Hunger knocked my stomach frequently begging me to eat something although I reminded her that we are here to search the book, not for eating, but couldn't able to control myself I asked him shyly, "Why don't we eat and resume our searching?" but no response. "Blake, I'm hungry." I turned around and whined like a baby but the place where he stood before was empty.

Panther's Pet

Panther's Pet

It's also guarded by a Death Stalker. "Great, I hate those things." I blew a strand of hair out of my face. The witch nodded solemnly. "They are fearsome creatures, but they only attack if you do something stupid like walk through the entrance without a witch escort." "What's the spell?" I asked. The witch smiled. "I'll show you." She nodded to her restraints, and Bex reluctantly untied her. She got up from her chair and materialized a book out of thin air. She took an ancient-looking key from her pocket and unlocked it with a click. She opened the book, which was filled with strange symbols and drawings. She flipped through it for a few minutes until she found what she was looking for. The

Mated to the Rogue Lycan

Mated to the Rogue Lycan

I smiled, before approaching my spot at the corner. My eyes moved to the clock that hung on the wall opposite me. One minute was left till eight. I sighed and scanned the empty bookstore. There were three long racks of books in front of me. Usually, people would be invisible once they entered those lines of racks. The counter remained hidden unless people stepped out, and moved towards me. I watched as Martha moved to the right, her frame hiding behind the huge racks. I couldn’t see her; she probably couldn’t see me now either.

Love this book and the characters. The author has a wonderful way of weaving in comedy into the serious, sweet & heavy moments, just like in real life where people use awkward statements and comical redirects to cope with awkward situations. Her characters are well developed & I love her stories!

Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

Phil still accepted his parent's gift and hugged them, tired from the party Phil excused himself and made his way to his room. Entering his room, Phil found it strange since his bedroom window was wide open, the wind blowing through the curtains, he walked and closed the window and saw a strange package on top of his bed. A rectangular package covered by brown paper and red twine holding it, Phil furrowed his brows and checked his room to see if something was stolen but saw that nothing was touched. Curious Phil opened the package and in it was an old book. The book was bound by leather and it has an image of a compass, a crescent moon covering one side, and a Greek ship at the bottom, on th
