I had no clue what we would do once we left here and had to return to our lives, but I tried not to think past today. The word scramble game I had played on my iPad for months didn't hold my attention, yet I forced myself to stare at the screen until my eyes closed with boredom. That’s when I finally kick him into gear and start chasing her. Me and Saint are running neck and neck at our top speed and she is still at least half a mile away from us on her little tornado. Finally, I see her starting to lower herself to the ground, which makes me pick up speed. Me and Saint get there first followed by Zion. It takes our warriors a couple minutes before they catch up to us as well and we all circle my mate.

Every day I went a different way to school, the coffee shop where I worked, even home so no one would know my routine.
