It’s never used, but I always have the cleaning lady work on it regardless. The blue crystal tiles on the walls and floors sparkle underneath the bright white light bulbs. It’s large enough to fit in twenty people at once. There’s a toilet bowl and sink at the far right, with a large circular mirror ahead of the sink, while the cubic shower room is on the left—behind a sliding door made of foggy colored tempered glass…I guess. It smells like bleach and feminine soaps. Mine, no doubt. My men try to come in behind me, but I stop them with a stern look on my face.

I held his arm to stop him. He sighed, as if he had no choice but to do what I wanted, fearing I might get angry again. "Come back quickly," he instructed seriously, pointing to a narrow corridor with white walls. I left Lazarus and walked towards the narrow corridor. It had two doors, one for the men's restroom and one for the women's. I quickly entered, and there were only five cubicles, along with mirrors and sinks where two other women were touching up. I entered an empty cubicle and sighed in relief as I could finally urinate.

She gazed at Calla through the mirror and smiled softly. "You're done," she uttered, turning her focus to Calla. Calla narrowed her eyes toward the lady, then slowly nodded. As if sensing her thoughts and questions, the lady giggled softly. "Don't worry. I showered in the other bathroom." Calla’s lips rounded into a small 'O' and she slowly nodded. So the room had more than one bathroom? She shook her head slightly, scoffing under her breath. The kind of things money could put in one room.

“Wait, what if one of the guys walks in on me?” “Oh, they wouldn’t dare,” Umrai assured her. “This is the women’s pool. The men have theirs elsewhere, and then there’s the general pool for both genders. You won’t see any guys here. And if you don’t want other women bothering you, I can tell them off.” “No, no. I’m fine. Thanks.” “Alright.” Umrai waved. “I’ll head out then. Bye.” And like that, she was gone, leaving Reene alone with the water.

I whispered to myself, but Dom seemed to have heard me. I didn't intend to speak to him. “This floor consist of the shopping floor, the glam rooms—it's called the ladies suites. This is where all the female performers prepare themselves before going down there for business.” He explained without turning back to look at me. I hissed quietly as I did a 360 degrees turn around, admiring the beautiful things I was seeing. “Wow!” I mumbled softly as I looked around. The atmosphere was totally different here. The air was thick with multiple fragrance of perfumes.

Lila POV Two girls came walking down the hall, and when they saw me, they leaned closer, whispering to each other about me, no doubt. Once inside the ladies’ room, I looked around. Mirrors decked the walls, black and white checkered tiles on the floor with white marble countertops and elegant-looking taps hanging over the basins. It was clear that Nico spared no expense when he had the VIP lounge designed. It had money and elegance written all over it. I walked to a stall and closed the door just before hearing women coming into the ladies’ room. “Did you see her?”

Her eyes scanned the room till it landed on Lillith. She walked into the room and stopped in front of Lillith. "The King has asked me to take you to your room. Follow me," Lillith nodded and followed after the woman. She waved at the other women before exiting the room. "For a moment, I thought that was my room," Lillith said as they walked down the large corridor. Everything here was really beautiful. The old lady only spared her a glance. "Your room? Why would you share a room with several women? That's the ladies' parlor. They spend most of their days there,"

I nodded meekly at her stern words. “I think you better follow me to the ladies” She led the way, whilst I meekly followed. I was very aware of the sound of me dripping on the corridor floor. She opened the door to the ladies toilets and beckoned me in. These toilets were a complete contrast to the men’s. I was welcomed by the smell of fresh spring flowers. My cold feet felt luxurious carpet below them. Everything sparkled and shone. There was a line of women waiting for the cubicles.

After breakfast, Lady Shine stood at the foot of the staircase, patiently waiting. “Queen Cleo, you have mails at the Women’s Room,” she said with her head down. Mom, who was in front of me, immediately headed to the Women’s Room. Since I didn’t have anything to do today, I headed to the Women’s Room with Mom. Envelopes and folders were neatly piled on the middle of the desk, I guess some papers to review and sign as well. “Mom, are you and Althea going to knit again later?” I asked as we entered the Women’s Room. I sat at the couch near a shelf while Mom went straight to the desk. I grabbed the nearest book I could reach to read while I wait for her.

I stare at his hand, at the strip of bare wrist peeking out from his shirt cuff. “I’m heading to the restroom,” I say, pulling my arm away. The washrooms sit at the very back of the bar. I walk down the narrow hallway and push open the door marked Ladies. I’m alone inside. Above the sink hangs an oversized mirror set in a tarnished brass frame. I step up to the glass and study my reflection.
