The Largest Library In The World Novels & Stories

There was nothing Chase could do about it. He could only follow Daintybells into the Royal Library. The library also had a grand design. Its hall alone was more than 30 feet high. Even the bookcases in there were about 23 feet. Ordinary people required a staircase to get to the books. For cultivators like Chase and Daintybells, they could fly to any book they wanted. Moreover, the place had great lighting from the sun as well. With the help of formations, the books were protected from humidity and other damage.

However, looking at Mark’s calm face, it was impossible to guess what was going on in his mind. Hesitantly, he asked, “If you want to ask anything about it, we can discuss it.” Taking a deep breath and leaning back in his chair, Mark asked calmly, “So, to expand your library and digitize it, you need twenty million dollar?” “Yes…” Mr. Miller said nervously, running his hand over his bald head. “A few days ago, I went abroad to visit some of the best universities. After seeing their libraries, I realized that ours is nothing compared to theirs. The facilities and the level of books available there are far ahead of us.

I forced a smile. “Follow me,” He said and started walking away. I quickly followed him and we passed the hallways to another part of the mansion. He opened the door and I realized it was a library, the largest I had ever seen. The room was dimly lit, with tall bookshelves covering the walls from floor to ceiling. The shelves were filled with books of all genres - classics, biographies, history, science, philosophy, and more. I saw leather-bound editions of Shakespeare, Dickens, and Austen, as well as modern bestsellers and academic texts.

It was only a couple of corridors away from where I was standing, through a large set of double doors. My mouth dropped open at the sight of the library; it was huge with multiple floors. Spiral staircases stood tall on both sides of the library, and giant floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the garden. There must have been thousands of books in this library. I wondered how much time Leopold spent in this library and if he ever read any of these books. I wanted to explore his book collection, but my urge to hear more about my mother overpowered my urge to look through books.

Rush stops in front of two large gold double doors, a rather small least intimidating man I’ve ever seen, nods and opens one of the large doors. “A library?” I mumble. Rush nods and smiles, taking me to the middle of the room, where there are large display cases made into two arcs, while the rest of the room consists of shelves, just shelves, and millions of books. I glance up and see the library is another two stories high. “Absolutely beautiful.” I breathe in the familiar scent of old books. There’s no scent like it in this world.

A library sounded much better than being lost. So she followed. ⸻ The White Fang Library was breathtaking. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. Ancient scrolls. Historical records. Maps. Thousands and thousands of books. Sam’s eyes widened. “Wow.” Metro looked mildly pleased. “It is one of the largest libraries in the North.” “I can see that.” She wandered through the shelves. Running her fingers across the spines. Some books looked centuries old. Others appeared brand new. Everything was organized perfectly. Naturally.

Since working at the library in Uyo, I had developed a surprising love for the quiet reverence of books and the endless knowledge they held. The city library was a formidable structure, an architectural marvel of polished stone and soaring arches. It dwarfed the cozy, familiar library I worked at back home, making it feel like a quaint corner shop in comparison. This one was vast, cold and undeniably impressive, its grandeur almost intimidating.

She wore a smile on her face (a faint one, hardly noticeable) and followed Bailewick out of the dining hall, down a flight of stairs and through the double doors out unto the main deck. Struggling to look over the crowd of shoulders, zephyra managed to catch a glimpse of the huge stone castle that was pronounced the haven of knowledge: the largest library in Aethlegard It towered twice as high as the castle in Fantascia and was almost three times as wide. It stood on a small island, surrounded by trees and gardens and, at the edges, rock. All that or the storage of books. "This entire castle is just for storing books?" Zephyra asked

They are busy in the dining area so I did it. My eyes widened in surprise when I entered the library. It was so freaking huge. I think there is thousands of books on the big shelf! Do I need to clean all the books?! If so, it will take me years and years to finish this! I do not even know where to start. This is ridiculously huge. I have only seen like this in movies. And I am always in awe whenever I see it. And I never thought I will see something like this in real life! It almost feels surreal!

"It's on the way." --- The library was not a room. It was a *world.* I stepped through the door and stopped moving entirely. The shelves were floor-to-ceiling. Rows and rows, filled with books. The shelves were so high there were rolling ladders on rails to reach the top sections. And not just one room, archways leading to more rooms, and more beyond that, a whole interconnected maze of books and documents and scrolls that went back further than I could process. Centuries of record.
