Prince Kurat , Nari The Lycan Princes series book one

Prince Kurat , Nari The Lycan Princes series book one

Everytime i would ask her if everything was ok she would just brush it off . After we looked in a few shops she wanted to have a look in an old book shop at the other side of town . I Love books. I was eager to go and have a look . As we approached the other end of the town I started to feel uneasy , the hairs on the back of my neck were standing on end . As if i was being watched , scanning the area, I noticed the streets at this end of town are deserted. Turning to Nyx I asked “ Are you sure this is where the book shop is ?”

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

But it was the last place anyone would look for him—a crumbling, graffiti-scarred brick building in the heart of Shoreditch, surrounded by trendy cafes and vintage shops, a monument to corporate indecision. The apartment was on the top floor, a vast, raw space that had once been intended as a penthouse. Now, it was a shell. Dust sheets covered shapeless mounds of furniture. The floorboards were bare, and a fine layer of grime coated the massive, factory-style windows that looked out over the London skyline. It smelled of neglect and old dreams.

Wet Confessions

Kissed her forehead. Still masked. “You’ll know who I am when you read the final letter.” He handed it to her. Then vanished into the night. She stared at the envelope. It read: Tomorrow. Noon. Check the book return. Then decide if you want me again. Ex Libris Obsession Camille found the next letter taped beneath the front register. The bookstore is older than you think. Look up. Behind the poetry. A staircase you’ve never noticed. The door will be unlocked. She traced her fingers behind the “P” section, heart thudding, until she found it

Revenge With My Brother’s Best Friend

Revenge With My Brother’s Best Friend

She rolled her eyes, tossing her ponytail as she spotted him through the café’s glass door, his slumped figure trudging toward Lily’s. I yanked my baseball cap lower, adjusting my oversized sunglasses, and spun my chair so my back was to the entrance. The bookshop was cozy, all warm wood tables and shelves stuffed with colorful spines, the air thick with coffee and that musty smell of old books. A couple of customers flipped through novels nearby, and the espresso machine hissed in the background. I grabbed my cappuccino, the foam tickling my lip as I took a quick sip. “Not happening, babe,” I shot back, keeping my voice low.

I Married My Father's Enemy

I Married My Father's Enemy

We are both so stiff that it makes me wonder what we were doing, but after a few seconds, our hands melted into each other, and soon, we were walking through the bookshop. "I never knew there was such a big bookshop in this city." I said and noticed how he turned back at a sound. "It was made last year, and I invested in it," he said casually, and I am beginning to wonder if there was any industry his money was not invested in. He was really not leaving his wealth to chance. "It is the biggest and the most visited. "That means we have denied many people the right to be here."

Her Honour for an Heir

Her Honour for an Heir

Our friends were aboard, we were left behind. Close to giving up I almost stepped in. Then I would think of those blue eyes and keep on walking. I won't be the one to abandon my hearts calling. Instead of the gin room I strode into a book shop. Picking up a text on flowers I had an idea. Inspiration struck and I soon had a small parcel paid and ready for delivery to Tarrick Hall within the week. It will soon be time for me to quit London, to prepare for our future no matter our status.

This was much different from most other stories I’ve read, but it most certainly was no less. This was a phenomenal read from beginning to end, absolutely kept me on my toes & binge reading as quickly as I could. As always, absolutely amazing job author - a must read! :)

A well written book with an engaging storyline that didn’t disappoint. It had a perfect ending and the book finished in a timely manner rather than endlessly dragging on. First time I’ve written a review because it was that good. I hope the author writes another book in this genre.

BROKEN BY A TORNADO

BROKEN BY A TORNADO

She got up and left. Frances yawned. "Good night mom." She turned off the lamp and shut her eyes. Frances worked as a salesclerk at the Soft View Bookstore, along Huxely Street, Boston. The bookstore was well known, not because it was a large establishment, but due to the style of book display ordered by Mr. Yamato -- nearly half of the books were displayed outside in a heavy show glass. This could be the most reason why each morning of a working day wore Frances out. She just hated everything about the book store.

Her last name, His claim

Her last name, His claim

So while he sat in a boardroom being intimidatingly competent, I took myself on a solo tour of the city with a croissant in one hand and a badly folded map in the other, because I refused to be the kind of person who stared at their phone in Paris. I found a bookshop on a narrow street that seemed to exist outside of time entirely, the kind with books stacked floor to ceiling and a cat asleep on the counter and an elderly owner who spoke no English but somehow understood exactly what I was looking for anyway. I spent an hour there and left with ten books and zero regrets.

Chasing His Divorced Wife

He looked at the print again. "Like the fig tree," he said. "Like the fig tree." We bought it. The bookshop was twenty minutes further. It was the kind of place that had been on that corner for thirty years and intended to stay. Narrow aisles, books shelved by a logic that rewarded patience, the reading room in the back exactly as I remembered it. Two chairs angled toward a window. A small table between them. A lamp that was on regardless of the hour. We settled. He'd picked up something from the front, history, I thought, without looking closely. I had a novel I'd been carrying in my bag for two weeks, waiting for the right hour.

My Best friend's Brother

My Best friend's Brother

"I know just the place." She took me to a small bookstore in Notting Hill. It was cramped. Chaotic. Perfect. I spent hours there. Running my fingers over the spines. Breathing in the smell of old paper. The owner, a kind older man named Gerald, let me sit in the corner and read all day. "You remind me of someone," he said. "Who?" "My late wife. She used to sit in that exact spot. Reading. Ignoring the world." I smiled. "She sounds like she was wonderful."
