Five Years a Virgin

Five Years a Virgin

On my journey back to the downtown district, I leaned wearily against the window. Memories of the past five years flashed in my mind. My wolf had never been so silent and couldn't even manage a whimper. I knew that just like me, she was dead and empty inside. How had I spent the past five years? For nights, I'd been alone, wrestling the restlessness and heat from the mate bond. I'd never slept a night in peace. When managing pack affairs, I'd faced the power-hungry elders' schemes alone. When patrolling the pack compounds, I'd fought off rogues in the woods alone.

The Last Seven Days

The Last Seven Days

He scooped Melody into his arms and looked down at me, high and mighty. "Rosalia, you've gone too far this time. Stay here and think about what you've done." With that, he carried Melody away. Over his shoulder, she shot me a smug look. The sea breeze howled at me, chilling me to the bone. The island was completely desolate. Being left here was a death sentence. Just then, a familiar voice echoed in my head. "Five days until you exit this world." A bitter smile touched my lips. Maybe this was for the best. I was going to disappear anyway… Slipping away quietly like this might just be easier!

Five Years In, I'm the Poorest Employee

Five Years In, I'm the Poorest Employee

The pen tip tore through the paper with such force that it nearly pierced straight through. "Fine, Shania! Just wait. Once you walk out that door, you'll regret it," Grant bellowed. I ignored his powerless fury. I simply packed the rest of my personal belongings into the box, picked it up, and marched through the office with my head held high. My colleagues on either side averted their eyes. No one dared to speak. When I reached the door, I turned back and took one last look at this place where I had spent five years. I recalled the cramped workstations and the messy papers.

The Last Alpha

The Last Alpha

At some point, I felt the need for affection from a woman. She cleared away all the dishes and went into the kitchen to finish her daily chores, while I left the dining room and started to search the library that my father frequented. I had to admit that there were some very old books, for the Hellfrost family is one of the oldest in existence. I sit for a moment near the bookcase and begin to slowly survey the completely clean place. I smile slightly. I think about my father and how he earned the right to be called that because he was in my childhood what could be considered a rebellious child.

One last time

Riley said " I'll pack up few things and go stay with my mom for a while and ermm, maybe take you up on your offer to move to new york, i think there might be something there for me, who knows" " that's the spirit girl, you'll get through this, i know you will" Ana said " yeah, bye" " Bye" Riley put down the phone and stood up to take a look at her apartment. She remembered moving here the year she left college and got her first job. The apartment represented adulthood, it represnted growth. The Last Yes

The Last Yes

However, he thought I was the one stirring things up with his friends, and that just pushed us further apart. Instead of listening, things just got worse. Looking back, if he had only tackled those problems head-on, maybe things would not have ended like that. 8 years had passed, and all I was left with was a heavy heart. Walter was zoning out when his secretary walked up. "Mr. Jones, here's the address. "It's quite a trek, and you've got a bunch of partner meetings lined up at the company." Walter just waved it off. "Push them back."

Twisted Obsession: The Billionaires Virgin Bride

Twisted Obsession: The Billionaires Virgin Bride

DANTE “I don’t know,” I whisper. “I don’t know how to tell the difference anymore.” “Then let me help you.” My mother’s voice is soft. “Close your eyes. Picture your life in five years. Really, picture it. Where are you? What are you doing? Who’s beside you?” I close my eyes. Five years from now, I’m standing in this same penthouse. The city spreads out below me, glittering and cold. I’ve just closed another billion-dollar deal. The board is thrilled. Shareholders are happy. The empire is secure.
