I really can’t afford to loose this job, there’s absolutely nowhere else I could work in this town and I desperately need the money. The silence in the little diner is deafening all of a sudden, no clattering of cutlery, no crunch from old man Jack biting down on the sausage links, Mrs. Devereaux stopped stirring her half cup of sugar with a drop of coffee.. silence … complete and utter silence. My heart is pounding in my chest, did I say something wrong?

Wherever we were going, it was going to be my final destination. "Right here. We'll wait for you in the woods while you get gas and buy dinner." the car stopped on the side of the road. Dean, creepy's real name, stepped out and gestured for me to follow him. As soon as he closed the door, the car skid away. "Follow me". He walked into the darkness of the trees without looking back. Of course, why would he worry about any escape attempt? where could even I go if I tried to run? There was nothing on this deserted road. I cast a last look at the retreating car before I trailed behind him.

Dean explained. "So... who was in the video?" Keith asked as he looked at them. "Why are you looking so calm about this even though you're the last to know?" Ray asked and Keith grinned. "I had my doubts but I didn't think much about it...." Keith declared and Dean sighed. "It seems like I'm the last one to realize that. And I even had a time when I was anxious about who would be this man who was with her five years ago..." Dean trailed off, "I'm assuming that it was you on the video," Ray said and Dean nodded.

His gaze never wavered, but there was a weight in his silence. The kind that only comes when you know history is repeating itself. I wiped my face, forced myself to my feet. I looked at Xavier. At Fiona, whose magic sputtered. At Diego, roaring defiantly through bloodied teeth. At the packs that remained, broken and burning. And finally—at Cael. He was watching the battlefield. Watching Dean descend further into darkness. Watching the Firstborn consume everything. When he finally spoke, his voice was steady. Clear. Absolute. “There is only one way to end this.”

He digests it all as we pull into the garage. "That clever bastard." After that we try to come up with a bulletproof plan to defeat Michael and Markus. "How about this, Samantha takes Genelia to Michael. We are all behind them waiting for a signal or something to pounce. Jack takes out Michael, Markus and-" Dean cuts off Philip's plan. "No, I'll take care of Oliver." Dean's eyes shone with vexation. "Are we all in agreement?" Jack checks. Everyone nods, including Genelia. "So it's settled, today is officially Michael and Markus's last day."

They knew some of them might not return. Dean gathered everyone in the main room. He looked at each face in turn. “If anything goes wrong tonight, we fall back here. There will be no heroics and equally, no one stays behind. We live, or we die together.” He paused. “But before we leave, I want something else from all of you.” He walked to the small wooden box he kept on the mantle. He opened it and removed five thin black leather collars. Each one was simple yet elegant. Each one had a small silver ring at the front and a tiny lock at the back.

They were out of time. And Dean Carter’s final trap had only just begun.

The man suggested. As Dean accepted the ID, he glanced at Kaitlyn who was covered with a blanket, attentively listening to them. "Kyle Hirata. Sounds familiar to me." Dean smirked and threw the ID away, smirking. "Beat him up," Dean ordered as Kaitlyn clenched her fists trying to contain her anger. 'Don't you dare touch him!' Kaitlyn thought. When Dean is about to close the door, another one of his men comes running, panic etched on his face.

I saved her. "No, no, God no. Please, no. Why? Why did you fucking do it?" Brianna cradled my head as tears fell like rivulets down her eyes. She was crying nonstop and I heard a whooshing sound. I turned to look, and it was Dean, my Dean. "Don't cry, please don't. I chose this. Please don't cry." I held on to Dean as he cried, cradling my head along with Brianna. I just had one last question to ask, and everything would be fine. I'll finally find peace.
