Orang tuanya tewas dibunuh oleh Pendekar Iblis dari Sekte beraliran hitam ketika baru saja ia dilahirkan, kemudian disembunyikan di dalam Goa oleh Kakeknya sendiri untuk dilatih menjadi Pendekar Kultivasi. Namun, sebelum kematiannya menjemput, kedua orang tuanya tersebut telah menyembunyikan semua benda pusaka dari Sekte Pedang Naga Putih di dalam sebuah Giok Naga yang dijadikan kalung dan dipakai oleh anaknya.
