I tear each chuckle from his throat and make him eat it. "You just couldn't keep your hands off me in dragon form and now this... this... and you laugh." He rolled over and looked up at me unable to hide his mirth. "The book has been in the library the entire time. You could have found it and read about the mating habits of dragons." I landed, my disgust taking words from my throat. I had too many thoughts on how I could kill him. Click, click, click. My talons hit the stone floor.

Steven took her there because Cassy wanted to see the books that were there, and she also wanted to get the formulas for the level 2 magic pills because she was sure that she would level up quickly. The library was really huge and luckily Steven was there to guide her. He didn't know the mage side at all because the library was split in two but thanks to Cassy's bracelet they were able to go through the different levels without any trouble.

“He’s a dragon, but he’s also a handsome boy. But his brother’s even more handsome, and he’s an even bigger dragon!” Apparently, teenage girls liked shitty books no matter which world you happened to be in. The library wasn’t particularly big, about the size of a large living room, but the walls were covered in shelves, and each shelf was full of books. I skimmed the spines looking for any interesting titles. “When I said books about magic, I meant books that teach you how to do magic, not silly stories for little girls.”

The wizard and Owen were searching the library looking for the first magic book of dragon Kingdom and suddenly Zudan noticed that one of the librarians took a book and hide it under his clothe. Zudan move closer to him and asked the librarian to show him the book he hides right now, the librarian beg wizard Zudan to forgive him and said it was a lady that asked him to hide it. Zudan asked who was that lady but the librarian man said if he says it the person will kill him then Zudan knew that it was Lame but something looks suspicious about the librarian as if he was hiding something apart from what he said.

Lost kingdoms. Forbidden magic. Anything connected to the visions. Anything connected to the dragon. Hours passed. The deeper I searched, the stranger the omissions became. Every text mentioned dragons only briefly before dismissing them as extinct. Lost. Destroyed. Gone from history. The repetition felt deliberate. As though someone had spent centuries erasing them from the world.

Dragons described as gods in one text and tyrants in another. Truth, I was learning, depended heavily on who survived long enough to write it down. I searched for dragons too. Not the grand myths—I’d already skimmed those—but the quieter things. Social structures. Bonds. Politics. How dissent formed. How it spread. How it was buried when it became inconvenient. The whispers I’d overheard in the city clung to me like burrs. Structure shifting. Tradition under threat. Leverage. Those weren’t the words of people afraid of humans.

"I have a theory." Draco said as he flipped the pages of the old book. It was called the book of supernaturals. A small leather bound book that had information on every recorded supernatural. Gabriel had called Draco the minute he left Elliot who had been thoroughly confused by his request. Draco had come over quickly and Gabriel ushered him into his study and locked the door behind them. It was still early, too early for Lori to wake up so he knew they had a few more minutes to themselves before she woke up.
