Novel & Cerita The Library Dragon

She winked at me. “I would assume you are looking for some background information? Dragons perhaps?” She studied me. “Dragons…why would you say that?” My mouth dry, I found myself reaching for Helen, afraid Mina might be more of an enemy then friend. I’m here if you need me, always. I breathed a sigh of relief, I wasn’t alone. Librarians are neither good nor bad, they don’t usually bother themselves with trivial details- she should be able to help. Let her.

But I was determined to make the best of this day trip. Freya insisted we start with the fort's famed libraries and archives. As we walked between rows of bookshelves, I marveled at the sheer volume of information housed here. Ancient tomes bound in cracked leather contained hand-scribed accounts of dragonlore through the centuries. If only I'd had access to such resources earlier! I might have made sense of my role as dragonkeeper much sooner.

I bet it had been ages since he had seen someone enter this place. “Honored Lord, I’m Hudson. How may I help you? This library is the oldest in Lordslane, so we have every piece the other Libraries don’t.” Hudson began flaunting. “Do you have a book about other species? Vampire or witch?” I asked carefully. “Of course we have it. It’s on the second floor. Let me take you there.” Hudson walked before us. He kept telling a story about this library and the oldest book he had on the shelf. From time to time, he’d ask a question, but I played deaf and gave him a few silver coins.

Once she was out of sight, he turned back to Vaelora to see her grinning. "I bet you, these books are not from the council library." She said, having ransacked the library for all the witchery and magic books she could find. There was no way she could have missed these ones. "They aren't." Draekon affirmed. "I sent for them from Luminaria." "You did?" Vaelora's eyes widened in shock. "I mean... where else can we find the best books on magic and witch ancestry, if not in the kingdom of the witches?" He shrugged.

He is the vice president of the Black group. "The final presentation is on my laptop. Get my laptop ready," Kael instructed his assistant, Lena Steward. She is in her early twenties. She is a low-level dragon with limited powers. Dragons are three types: black, orange, and green. Alpha Dragons are black, while mid- to average-level Dragons are orange. Dragons without a beast are green. They have heightened senses, but cannot shift. "Yes, boss," Lena replied. She pulled his laptop from the laptop bag while she entered the private elevator with Kael and Michael. The moment she removed the laptop, water started dripping down from the laptop.

I thought with a scornful look on my face. "I can't wait to control their feeble mind," Kendra, my dragon, said with an excited look. "For making fun of how I looked." This war had started years ago when I first accidentally found a book titled the first dragons. And then someone helped me to know more about the first dragons, and their history. Everything started with that first book. The book was buried deep in the depth of a library, and that was the only print, I had found out later. The fascination became obsession and the obsession became need.

“I hope to see you soon.” She leaves. * * * * * * * * * * Brandon finds her in her library. Hers. The one Brandon had gifted her on the night of their wedding, all those days ago. Even now, Brandon will never forget the vision his dragon had made, dressed in white lace and silks, a glittering, jeweled train sweeping behind her for miles, her smile glimmering brighter than any star Brandon’s ever loved as she placed her hand willingly in the monster’s. Even he could not have predicted the absolute marvel his dragon would grow to be in such short a time.

Although this information is well known, mythicals are still a mystery to the rest of civilization, if encountered, don’t stare into its gaze. HM, what bullshit. Slamming the book, I huff before pushing it away from me and stare at it while it joins the other books on the floor. I stand and stretch my legs that have been sitting under me for the past 2 hours. This library might be helpful at times, but comfort is definitely not one of its strong suites.

He then turns and goes deeper into the library. “What is he looking for?” I ask. Ailduin takes my phone, frowning. “I’m not exactly sure, but it looks like this could be an area where the dragons used to live when they were alive. He’s probably going to get some old maps so we can compare them to your image.” “That’s exactly what I’m doin’,” he says, coming back with a bunch of scrolls in his arms. He drops them on the table and Ailduin and I each take one, opening them up.

" Mystic Joe is leaving in the evening to bring in his teacher. He seems to know a lot more about your kind. So that might be of some help. I however have found out about an old library. It's more like a comic shop. You know, picture books. They have some 'specialised' versions on Dragons. You know, it would not hurt to go check if it has some information! " I wasn't very sure where she was trying to take me or what kind of a place it was. But I had no idea where to start in this world. It was not a bad idea to start somewhere. At most only a few hours would go to waste.
