The Dark Below is a steam-punk/fantasy world filled with the darkness that rests beneath a wavering tide. Generations ago, Gods from the depths below rose from the black seas and in doing so, caused a great flood that would have destroyed all of humanity if it was not for the ingenuity of survival. Living among The Dark Below has come to pass, but now four warriors must come together in hopes of forging a brighter future.

Semua orang berebut untuk mendapatkan takhta, merebut harta dan memiliki wanita, tapi tidak dengan pangeran yang satu ini. Keinginan hidup atas jerih payahnya membuatnya rela melepas statusnya sebagai pangeran mahkota, tapi sebuah kejadian membuatnya berubah menjadi sosok yang di takuti semua orang. Kejam, tiada ampun dan pemain wanita sudah melekat dalam namanya. Seluruh penjuru mengenalnya hingga ke telinga orang yang menjadikannya menjadi seperti ini. Mungkinkah orang tersebut akan kembali bertemu dengan sang pangeran untuk memperbaiki segalanya? Atau hanya akan memperburuk keadaan?

Holylight adalah ibukota kerajaan yang terdapat disalah satu benua Kylum, Kylum adalah benua dengan empat jenis sihir yakni cahaya,kegelapan,air,dan api. Kylum sendiri terbagi atas empat kerajaan besar antara lain Bright,Lorian,Kyle,Nemesis. Holylight merupakan ibukota kerajaan Bright. Kerajaan Bright adalah kerajaan ilmu sihir cahaya sedangkan Nemesis adalah kerajaan ilmu sihir kegelapan, kedua kerajaan ini saling bermusuhan selama berabad-abad. Lorian adalah kerajaan dengan ilmu sihir air, kerajaan ini adalah yang paling cinta damai mereka tidak pernah sekalipun berselisih dengan ketiga kerajaan lain selagi tanah mereka tidak diganggu, dan Kyle adalah kerajaan dengan ilmu sihir api, kerajaan ini adalah salah satu pemasok persenjataan terbanyak untuk ketiga kerajaan karena bakat alami mereka ada seorang pengrajin. Dibenua Kylum terdapat sebuah bencana yang dinamai “Void World”, sebuah dimensi ruang dan waktu yang bisa mengeluarkan monster ganas dari dimensi lain sehingga menyebabkan kehancuran dibenua Kylum, ketika Void World muncul maka empat kerajaan tersebut harus menyatukan kekuatan mereka untuk menyengelnya sehingga bisa menutup ruang dan waktu yang muncul didalam sebuah batu yakni “Stone Of Life” batu ini tercipta ketika empat dari raja kerajaan tersebut menyatukan sihir mereka, akan tetapi konsekuensi yang harus dibayar adalah mereka akan kehilangan semua ilmu sihir mereka dan akan mati setelah berhasil menyegel Void World didalam Stone Of Life. Sudah lebih dari 10.000 tahun semenjak Void World disegel, kehidupan dibenua Kylum juga mulai berangsur membaik dan semenjak saat itu juga kerajaan Bright dan Nemesis mulai berselisih dan berperang untuk membuktikan siapa kerajaan yang terkuat diantara empat kerajaan, akan tetapi tidak pernah ada pemenang diantara kerajaan tersebut yang ada hanya pertumpahan darah dan menelan banyak korban diantara kedua belah pihak sehingga kedua kerajaan tersebut menandatangani sebuah surat perjanjian untuk gencatan senjata untuk beberapa waktu yang lama, dimana surat ini tidak akan berlaku lagi jika satu pihak menyerang pihak lain.

Nathaniel Hemlock was once one of the most feared pirates to ever sail the seas. His endless quest for gold and power claimed many lives but never concerned him since his heart had long hardened. That is until one day that desire took a dark turn. For power and gold he traded not only his own soul but that of his crew. Now he is cursed to sail the seas until the end of time, unless 1000 more souls are given, one a year...all must be children which was one of the only things he would never do. Present day. Lloyd has always scoffed at the legends that bring visitors to his town near the sea, and with the arrival of a movie crew it's gotten worse. Returning home one evening he sees a strange, old fashioned boat docked and curiously decides to board it. A decision he soon regrets. Once onboard he cannot leave. Nathaniel is not best pleased but there is little he can do and decides to use Lloyd as a cabin boy to make himself useful while he continues to search for another way of breaking his curse and freeing his crew. Their lives will soon become more entwined and perhaps Lloyd is the one who can warm the frozen heart.

Two young souls crossed path but fated played at them. What could happen to their shattered hearts? Would they still believe in love when it gone all wrong?

The evening wind and tranquility wiped away all the chaos that had been filling my mind for the preceding few days. It felt as though I had been granted a second opportunity at life, akin to that of a newborn kid. I'd always wanted to feel that way for so long, and that night was a very captivating time for me to begin with. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, feeling the breeze brush against my skin as I relived all the horrific events that had occurred. All the turmoil that seemed to escape reappeared in an instant. Tears rush down my cheeks as I feel my body shudder as a dreadful understanding dawns on me. It feels as if every second of my existence has been squandered, and as if the sense of despair and worry has taken over the little strand of sanity that exists for me as it pours through my veins and fills my spirit to the core. "You've got this. All you have to do is think that you can," I said to myself persuasively. "You can't, you just can't. You'll never be able to do it, and you'll have to live with the repercussions for the rest of your life," a familiar voice said. My senses begin to be overpowered by numbness. And with that, I realized I could not go away. The reality that this is my fate hits me like a ton of bricks. As I stretched out to wipe away all my tears, I felt thick moisture on my fingers and was terrified to find blood instead of tears. I felt as if my world was spinning before I could even scream. Then, all of a sudden, darkness crept inside me. And eventually sends me to oblivion.
