The Long Story Book Novels & Stories

We have come to the end, and while it is a bit abrupt, I’d like to clarify some things. The book is already at 290 thousand plus words, I was really worried about its readability because anything longer would probably scare readers off. I don’t know how everything usually operates because I am a mildly new author on the platform and this is my first completed book, but it felt like Luna Scarlett was getting long, and if I was to go further into settling some other points in the story….. It’d have been way longer. Now to pick up some of the points I left unfilled in the story (Without giving any spoilers of course.)

Juniper nodded her head after hearing Selena’s suggestion. The story was called ‘Me and My Dad’, and it was written in three installments that were split into three books. The plot revolved around a little dinosaur by the name of Rory and his father. In fact, these storybooks were a gift from her colleague who didn’t know that Selena was a single mother. Thus, she had never chosen them to read for Juniper because she was afraid that the child would ask difficult questions, which she might not know how to answer.

Then I moved away from the window, and turned to look at the books which all looked amusing. I reached out to the bottom of the shelf and removed a book from it. Then I dusted it off, and sneezed as the dust got into my nostrils. These books must have been here for a long time, and that means it’s all about history. Hmm! Things are about to get interesting. “Story of the Rainbow?” I scoffed and bit my lips, then opened the book. I flipped through the pages, awed by the writings and the pictures which were inside.

It was an old, deep brown, leatherbound book with the title in gold leaf. 'Tales of Olde'. It was heavier than I expected. Uncle Leo hadn't told me the title of the story so I skimmed the contents page. None of the titles mentioned an unnamed wolf. I sighed.

In life, he experiences every form of marriage other than life-long monogamy. The book is essentially a series of short stories taking photo snaps of his life. And it has some wonderful quotes." "Such as?" Which ones to choose? Not the ones I remember her reading to me.... Those are too sharp, too edgy for me to share...

Since the first day this book aired on this platform, a year ago, to now, i've evolved as a writer and the course of the book has changed quite a number of times over the months. I set out to entertain people with my writing, that has not changed, what has, however, is my style, the story telling, the story setting, the character developments and so on. I never intended for the book to be a hundred chapters long, believe me, so i realized it was dragging out, taking too long and i had to do something about it.

And that was only volume one! I wondered how many volumes there were in total. I opened the big book and could smell the traces of time in it. All I hoped for was that it wouldn’t be too dry to read.
