Harvey York's Rise to Power

Harvey York's Rise to Power

The coins changed into the formation of Nine and Eight in midair. All who were present watched this scene in amazement. Those who walked the path of the occult and mysticism were all very impressive. Marlee could not look away. While she believed in science, what was unfolding before her was a testament to how terrifying these people could be. Harvey narrowed his eyes, but he was not that interested. The coins that the Earl of Treasures used were pretty good. It was most likely a treasure passed down through generations. The only issue was that the way he controlled it was not that impressive.

Truth Of Chaotic Past

Truth Of Chaotic Past

Leo said looking at the other coins which were thrown randomly on the ground. "Is one of the real coins among these dummy coins, disguised?" Adi questioned. "Ah that might be the case. That's what he might have done." He said and then touched every coin he could find. Together they turned many coins into sand. Adi touched one last coin. The coin turned into lion headed gold. Adi smiled looking at it. She turned around, calling Leo to inform him. Leo came and bent down to take the tenth coin they needed. He was about to pick it up, the coin doubled itself. The two coins went on doubling. Soon there was a huge heap of Lion head gold coins.

Reincarnated As A Dragon

Reincarnated As A Dragon

I retorted back, somehow feeling slightly embarrassed. Clairmont huffed smugly. “Some premise, like that tavern we went to, doesn’t accept this gold coin because of fear that they might not have the adequate balance to give back. That’s why this gold coin is only used by the richest among the rich.” He then laid down again. “Then…” Okay, I get that he has the money, but was throwing away his money like that necessary? If we were to talk about the amount of gold coins that he tossed earlier, I could buy a better house to stay compared to my small apartment room.

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

“His family has owned the land by the toll bridge to the Common Lands for ages, and his granddaughter is the seventh mistress, Lady Isolde.” The old man stepped forward with a bow. “Your Highness,” he greeted Kylan before he let his eyes travel to me. “And the royal mate.” He pulled a small silver coin from his pocket. “One of the very first Lyperian coins ever made. It belonged to my great-great-grandfather.” I couldn’t accept that. “I can’t—” Kylan nudged my shoulder. “She can’t thank you enough for your generosity. Thank you, Lord Eddrick!”

A year has already passed, and the book is still not finished. Although it is very well written (except for the chapters where the action drags), I have started to get bored. I keep waiting for “ the war that ends the world” but it never comes.

I used to wait for the chapters but now it is unnecessarily dragged on. Author builds up for climax so nicely but unfortunately it never comes which leaves reader frustrated and at some point gives up ( like me). Seems like lot of tease without any ending.

Martial Dragon Emperor

Martial Dragon Emperor

"The price is one million, each increase cannot be less than five million gold coins!" The auctioneer shouted, which immediately made the people there excited. Long Chen heard that the price of one hundred million gold coins was a bit strange, only half a piece of map was worth that much even though there was not necessarily any treasure in the imperial ruins. Long Chen laid back down again and closed his eyes leisurely without the slightest care of what happened in that last auction.

The Accidental Rebirth: The Troubles of a Three-Year-Old CEO

The Accidental Rebirth: The Troubles of a Three-Year-Old CEO

“No! It’s… the UV index! Very high today!” He frantically raised his umbrella—accidentally poking a passing child in the process. At the "History of Currency" exhibit, Haruko pointed to an ancient Greek silver coin. “Is this related to that ‘bad money drives out good’ thing you mentioned in class?” Takuto nearly bit his tongue in shock. “You… you know about Gresham’s Law?” “Mhm!” she beamed. “I read the book you recommended. A lot of it went over my head, though…”

From Gamma to Luna

From Gamma to Luna

I asked through mind-link. “They are not ordinary coins. It had been used to decide the exact time of Blood Day ever since the forming of my pack. We can be linked with the Moon Goddess through these beautiful coins. Look how beautiful they are.” Derek held me in their arms and pointed at the coins. Yes, they are beautiful. I looked at the coins carefully. There were seven coins on the plate and three had moons on their side, while there was a woman's back on the other four coins. I guessed that was why it was decided on Wednesday.

The Adventure of August Back to Earth

The Adventure of August Back to Earth

The coin is somewhat bigger than the usual coins on Earth. "You don't have paper bills, like money made of paper," I ask here. They looked at me as if I was losing my mind. "We don't have such a thing. The highest currency we do have is one dhraknus. The paper has no value." Well, technically a gold coin has a bigger value than one thousand bills. Weird but true. So if there are no paper bills, it seems to be difficult if they bring a lot of coins. But who the hell cares, as long as I am not carrying them, I won't give a damn.

I said and gave the merchant the brightest smile I could. "What?! I did not hear you, Nara!" Sir Gilbert shouted leaning forward. Poor Gilbert. Caducity was wearing his ears out. If I could make extra coins today or even one Silver coin, I would get him a hearing aid. Getting a Silver coin would be too much to ask. It was like getting blood from a turnip. In Astros, Gold coins were the highest denominations that only the Nobles possessed. By Nobles, I mean the higher-ups. Then the Silver coins which Nobles and Merchants possessed. Then the Copper coins, which the lower Nobles had. The lower nobles were different from the Nobles as they were not as rich as the Nobles or Merchants. Last of all
