"If you need our services again, the price just went up significantly." "There won't be a next time," Lora replied, pushing past him toward the stairs. As she made her way back down to the main floor of the club, Lora felt the crushing weight of complete failure. She had spent thousands of dollars she didn't have, risked her reputation even further, and accomplished absolutely nothing except proving to herself how powerless she had become. The music seemed louder now, the lights brighter and more aggressive. Young people danced around her, celebrating their youth and freedom while she walked through them like a ghost from a different world entirely.

Outside, danger still lurked. Alejandro, standing nearby, crossed his arms. “This is touching, really. But we need to move. The people who run this place are not going to let us walk out unchallenged.” Tomiwa, ever alert, nodded. “We’ve made too much noise already. Someone will come looking.” A scream rang out from deeper inside the club, followed by the unmistakable clatter of metal against concrete. The underground fight house was waking up to the fact that they had just lost one of their prized fighters—Luciana.

Chapter 30 ••~••°••~•• Luciano ••~••°••~•• Our club— ‘The Night Trap’ has been buzzing with a lot of people lately. I guess everyone is suddenly going through a rough patch, and just wants to… cool off. It's situated at where one would describe as an unassuming location—rather unsuspecting, away from prying cops who love to stick their noses in our business. One would never guess there's a kinky sex club off this quiet, dark street. That's how we wanted it to be, that's why it's called ‘The Night Trap.’

“What?” “It gets worse. Someone stole my phone and later returned it. But not before they copied my phone and used the cloned copy to send Juliette the videos. So, this is my only warning. I’m not impressed with this club or the type of people you’ve been letting in. In fact, this club appears to prefer a type of person whose character is paper thin and easily torn away to find something embarrassingly unattractive beneath its thin exterior. I’m tempted to withdraw my membership and support all together.”
