Lost to Earth: Book Three

Lost to Earth: Book Three

The Duke commands one of his men to sing the bards' tales that the knight studied on his travels. The knight begins with the tragic story of "Tristan and Isolde," the Medieval version of "Romeo and Juliet." And-Holy Shit! The knight's voice would give Josh Groban a run for his money! The soulful voice echoing around us mixed with the sad song brings tears to my eyes. Love found and fatefully lost due to miscommunication. I glance around, and I see no dry eyes in

The Song of Us

The Song of Us

"I carved that rose and gave it to Fenric. How could it be yours?" Zirion clenched his fists, his gaze darting between the sword knot and Selene. "I… I once lost one just like it…" "So are you implying I stole it from you?" Selene retorted sharply. The more he explained, the worse the situation became. Zirion moved closer anxiously. "Ms. Wyndham, I wish to speak with you alone…" The city bell tolled again, signaling the end of the annual competition. "Nessa hit the target once, so she'll surely be rewarded. Shouldn't you go take a look?" Selene said with a sneer.

, and she is sure that nobody has seen her wearing it within the hotel premises. Jon was a bit shocked. "The... The necklace?" "Yes," she answered with a smile. "The one you gave me on my nineteenth, you see Jon, I don't know what you may think, but I never wanted to lose it, as I've already lost you," she is becoming dramatic with her tone, but bit her lip and was trying her best not to laugh. "Oh, um. I didn't expect that you still have it. I'll do what I can, I promise." He was trying to assure her that everything will be alright. "Will see you in the morning, Viv. First thing," he hung up, trying to keep her calm. Stephanie was obviously frustrated, handed back his drink as he said, "Tha

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

She’d seen a lot of lost wielders, lost shadows crying in despair, begging for something to latch unto because they knew that the place where they’d be falling was their worst nightmare. “Sleep, dear child! You’ve had enough!” Marjorie breathed heavily when another series of tears trickled to her cheeks. Crouching, she wiped all of those away, caressing her hair, whispering words she didn’t even know Z would hear. She just felt compelled to say so, because she, too, had been lost a lot of times.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

The Lost Bet

The Lost Bet

She screamed. “You are not, not anymore.” He spoke as he bit her neck to the extent that she felt as if he will snatch out her flesh. “Please, let me go.” “That husband of yours lost you on a bet. I am the winner, and you belong to me. Just me.” She knew what Aslan was saying was right. John had indeed lost her on a poker table as if she was nothing but another of his belongings just like his watch or an old table.

Princess of the Pack, Finding Her Mate

Princess of the Pack, Finding Her Mate

But no matter what lay ahead, we would face it together. As we continued our descent, the eerie silence was shattered by a haunting melody that echoed through the labyrinth. The song of the Forgotten, an ancient hymn that spoke of lost times and lost battles, resonated with our own struggles, filling us with a strange sense of dread. "What is that?" I asked Eldric, my voice barely a whisper. Eldric's gaze was distant, his eyes filled with ancient pain and loss. "It's the Song of the Forgotten, a reminder of our past, our struggles, and the destiny that awaits us."

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

The signature of the Ash-born. Gods, I should be terrified, but I'm not. Because they’re not attacking. They’re not reaching for me with hungry claws or baring fangs stained with malice. They’re singing. It’s not a melody in any sense I understand. It’s grief made sound, sorrow given voice. A mourning that shreds the air and tears at the fabric of reality itself. The song speaks of loss and abandonment, of being forgotten by the world that created them. The song is unbearable in its’ beauty and pain.

Bound By Fate, Burned By Love

She asked. I didn't know what to answer but then said, "Nothing, I'm just curious really. I wanted to learn more about us” I lied. She didn't look like she believed me but answered anyway, "Yes, there was a book of that sort but many many years ago it was lost in a fire” "Oh” I said in surprise. I hadn't expected that at all. "There's nothing else that contains it's contents?” I asked her. She shook her head, "No, our fathers before us had preserved that book as the ultimate one and it would be the only one consulted, unfortunately we lost it”
