Her voice echoed through the dungeon. The guards glanced inside nervously. Linda took a deep breath and lowered her voice. "My feelings never changed." “Time passes. Feelings change. It’s normal.” “No, it’s not,” she said, walking right up to me. Her eyes burned with something wild and desperate. She stepped close enough that her body heat wrapped around me. Her fingers brushed my chest lightly, tracing the torn fabric of my shirt. “I love you. My feelings never changed. And I know yours didn’t either. You’re just confused. But it’s okay… I can remind you. I swear I can.”
