Looking up I saw the Lycan king was holding the door open for me while one of his hands was extended for me to take. This was the first time I am looking at his face and not just his face I am looking at him. He looked like someone carved him out of a stone. He is tanned with sharp and defined jaws his eyes are the colour of Amber. He looked nothing less than a god but he looked kind of scary just like we have all heard about him, a ruthless killing machine. I stared at him before I got out of the car avoiding his hand. I wasn't interested in his help in any way he had done more than enough.

He’s been watching since the ceremony. I looked at Rowan. ‘I understand if you want me to leave before he arrives. Whatever political obligation his arrival creates for you. I don’t want you to leave, Rowan said. He is the Lycan King. If he arrives here and finds you have been —’ Harboring you. Something in his voice was almost amused. Harboring is an interesting word for offering a guest a bed and breakfast. I stopped arguing. Not because I had run out of arguments but because I could see that they were not going to work, and I had learned a long time ago not to spend energy on immovable things.

I deadpanned. "Who are you exactly? Are you Raven Declan or Sienna West?" He asked, and I sighed. "What do you think?" He slowly released my hand, pulling down the sleeve of his shirt to cover the rose tattoo on his arm. "Let's go back. It's late," he said, ignoring my question. I glanced at the inky night sky and scanned the woods beyond. If I made a run for it, how far would I go? King Aries was the king of the Lycans. I'd heard that he was the oldest Lycan in the kingdom. This could either mean that he had insane abilities or that his abilities were fading with time.

Kaiden inhaled a sharp breath and said, “Proceed.” “People say the Lycan King is a man that has lived for over a thousand years. Even after living for so many years, the moon goddess didn't bless him with a mate. So they say he attends every banquet even if he's uninterested only because he was in search of his mate.” Oliver said in one breath. “What if his mate is from our pack?”

“The Lycan king will be here by noon, and the presence of everyone is needed downstairs. The order insists we all welcome him in the next 20 minutes." The person said and then I recognized the voice, it was the head maid. As luck would have it, she didn't come in, she only spoke from the door. I cleared my throat, attempting to steady my voice. "I'll be there shortly," I managed to reply, my voice strained. This was the first time I'll be meeting someone so powerful especially the Lycan king, so I would try my best to look presentable. His reputation for being extremely cruel and vicious was well-known across the entire kingdom.

Your love, Otsana. I stared at the screen, disbelief and anger flooding my veins. “You’re a monster,” I whispered. He chuckled darkly. “Call me whatever you want, my queen. But this is for the best.” He snapped the phone’s back open, removed the SIM card, and broke it in half. Before I could stop him, he placed the pieces in his mouth and swallowed them. “You’re insane,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. He leaned in close, his breath warm against my ear. “Watch your tongue, Otsana. I am the Lycan King. I rule over all the packs in this kingdom. You will show me respect.”

“Going somewhere?” the lycan king asked, emerging from the trees. His voice was smooth but laced with an underlying tension. His gaze locked onto me, and a mix of fear and exhilaration sparked within me. His face was now covered but his glowing eyes were visible. "How... how did you find me?" I stammered, attempting to compose myself. He narrowed his gaze at me and stated, "I'm the lycan king.” That's it! As if that explains everything. Wait, well it kind of does; a lycan king is the most powerful werewolf.

"And now, I'm here to claim my queen." Lucas glared at Alexander, his muscles tensed and ready for a fight. "I won't stand by and let you take her against her wish," he growled. Alexander chuckled darkly, his eyes flashing with anger. "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into, pup," he said, his voice dripping with contempt. "I am the king of the Lycans, and I will have no problem tearing you and your little pack apart if you continue to defy me."

“If they want war, they’ll get one. But they’ll learn one thing before this ends.” “What’s that?” I whispered. He turned to me, and his eyes weren’t just Damon’s anymore. They were the eyes of a king. A Lycan King. “That no one touches what’s mine.” —

"If we have to fight in the end, so be it. We are wiz bloods, endowed with special powers from the goddess. But I don't want to disrupt the peaceful lives of citizens over my family's problems," "An idea just came to me. How about we..." *** The Lycan King sat on his throne dressed in harem pants with many parts of his body adorned by jewelry. A creepy mask covered most parts of his face. He was watching two Lycan elders argue with each claiming they were in the right. "Silence!" King Kyle had had enough. "It seems you guys don't put me in your eyes. I've smiled way too much this morning that you forgot I'm not an accessory on this throne."
