The Man Without A Face Novel Novels & Stories

My eyes were still dizzy, and when I looked further, I realized I was in a holding cell for the black wolves. The room smelled of poisonous herbs. I retched at the smell, but it didn't stop. And beyond the walls outside, there were always the screams of animals. It sounded like cats being torn apart. And beneath the screams, there was always a low chanting in a language I had never heard. The door opened, and a man with no face walked in. I believed he had a face, but he always kept it covered with a hood and a mask. He had a good build, with an endearing voice.

Apparently it was ‘too sexy that it could kill’. Cold air kissed my now mostly exposed skin, but I didn't mind. A smile pulled at my lips as I reached back with a longing sigh to touch Rowan, but I didn't touch his neck like I wanted to, his weak spot. Instead my hands landed on a face too hairy to belong to him. That was when my brain caught up to the odd scent filling my nose. I quickly turned around with my heart pounding in my chest, and a small scream inside my throat. “Who are you?” I asked the strange man before me, further realizing with horror that he wore no clothes. He was stark naked with his erection brushing against my thighs. I looked down at my undressed state and wrapped my

I could barely protect myself if I was in danger. Just as I was about to get up and leave, a strange face suddenly appeared above the rose bushes. It was a gaunt face, with sunken cheeks and gray-rimmed eyes. I was so frightened that I forgot to scream. "Fresh Blood!" Said the man, taking a deep breath in intoxication, then speaking darkly, his fangs glistening in the moonlight.

Elijah immediately stopped in his tracks. The man’s hood slipped loosened, slipping a little, but enough for us to see him clearly this time. “Who are you?” Elijah repeated, but there was fear in his voice now, like he already sensed something he didn’t want to believe. The man suddenly jerked, and the hood fell back completely. Elijah looked as if he had saw a ghost. Under the faint dock lights, the man’s face appeared, his face was twisted with rage, but far worse… …covered in old, warped, burnt scars, stretching from his cheek to his jaw, melted skin fused in uneven patches. Elijah staggered backward a step as if someone had punched the air out of him. “No …” he whispered. His hand holdin

I keep my face buried in my thighs, waiting for the moment he’ll pounce on me and devour me. Only, that moment doesn’t come. Instead, “Are you okay?” A thick male voice breaks through my reverie. Wait, what? When I raise my head up again, an audible gasp escapes me. The big black wolf that was just about me has disappeared and in its place is a man that is half naked, save for the tattered looking pair of pants hanging low on his lips. I can’t see his face because of the darkness but I have a feeling he’s captivating. His voice alone sounds hypnotic.

Around his face and on his head was an ornate headpiece, covering his jaw and fanning out over his head almost like a crown. "That little particles weren't ashes, but the powdered form of corpses…" the man spoke. "Your Doll was in the middle of this forest, but CorpseBoy won't let you pass through." The anger can be seen on Lucas' face, closing their fists in the motion as he stared at this strange man. Most notably though, this man didn't have any human face. Instead, his body seemed to be that of a skeleton, with him possessing no nose, eyes, or skin. What on Earth was he?

“Is that a human or a ghost?” Across them, dressed in black, a man with a face so deformed that his features couldn’t be differentiated was walking toward them. He had no nose, his teeth were showing, and his eyeballs were even protruding from their sockets. There were craters all over his skin, as if his face had been washed with sulfuric acid. This man was utterly horrendous. If he were to act in a horror movie, he wouldn’t require any special effects makeup. He must be the ghost previously shown on the livestream.

She jumped to reach it and almost slipped to fall, fortunately, there was a hand holding her back and thwarted her from falling. “Thank you!” Sonya smiled at the man who helped her to get the book. That man only smiled without saying any words and left her to another row of bookshelves. Sonya stared at the back of that man who was wearing a black shirt and an old pair of jeans. He was tall and had enigmatic eyes with a mysterious smile while he caught Sonya staring at him with his eyes. Sonya cleared her throat and turned her head away. She approached Frank’s desk to submit the book and borrow it. “Hey, you have fifteen minutes to accompany me having breakfast?” She whispered and turned her

“Please…” Who was this man? I couldn’t see his face, but if he came just a little closer into the light, I would be able to. Then, I’d have nothing to bargain with. Did I even have anything to hide behind now? He’d killed those three men with ease and without hesitation. What was I going to do? He hadn’t gotten any closer since he’d whispered my name, but he hadn’t seemed keen on letting me go. What murderer would, especially if I saw his face?

The stone being the only object to my defense, I hit him hard across the chest being the only part I could reach. Swiftly, he let go of me stumbling back. Like a stone half the size of my fist could hurt him. I didn't even pack a hard punch. But the man froze, eyes widened and staring at my hand. His hair was out of his face now and I could see his face. He had sharp facial features with magenta eyes that glowed in the dark. It was so odd and unexpected that had me momentarily stunned. Such a handsome face was truly wasted on a mad man. Seriously, is he some sort of a faulty guinea pig?
