ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

"Dead? Probably." the man turned. The movement was slow, mechanical, accompanied by the faint, wet sound of skin pulling against raw muscle. The moonlight hit him. It wasn't a face anymore. It was a topographical map of trauma. The left side of the man's head was a slick, hairless ridge of melted tissue. One ear was gone. The eye on that side was a milky, sightless orb, but the right one—the right eye was a piercing, predatory crimson that burned with a familiar, localized hell.

Ghost In The Pack

Ghost In The Pack

The dark brown cover was worn smooth with age, and strange silver markings were pressed into the leather. Without thinking, I accepted it. The instant my fingers touched the cover, warmth spread across my palm. It wasn’t painful. If anything, the book almost felt…alive. “I think you’ve mistaken me for…” The rest of the sentence never came. The man had vanished. That’s so strange. Because I didn’t see him walking away. He didn’t blend into the crowd. He just simply… Vanished. I turned in a slow circle, scanning every face around me. People laughed, ordered drinks, argued over upcoming fights, and carried on as if nothing unusual had happened.

Rise of the Alpha Queen

Rise of the Alpha Queen

After setting the now visible book back on the desk, which thankfully didn’t make it disappear once more, I smack at the hands fawning over me to get the two overprotective men off of me. “My nose is healed.” I grumble. “Now get off of me.” I run my fingers over my face, letting out a gasp when my hand comes back covered in blood. “Does it look that bad?” I ask, turning towards Kenji who I know won’t lie to me. “It definitely doesn’t look pretty.” He tells me, touching my face softly to reassure himself that I am okay. “What happened?” He asks, dropping his hand from my face. “It was like the book weighed a ton.” I turn to the book, my face scrunched up in displeasure. “When I gave the book

Be Back, My Human Mate

Be Back, My Human Mate

One day after completing a charity event, opening a special shelter to feed the homeless, a man approached Celia and suddenly the smell coming from the man made Shan--her wolf writhe with joy. [Celia, mate!] Celia swallowed the saliva that suddenly clogged her throat. The man was handsome, with an athletic body shape, even though his height was standard for a man. However, he seemed to be in a daze. His face was gloomy and dull, with a mustache and beard that grew thickly and unkempt. His eyes and nose were red. As he spoke, the strong smell of alcohol made Celia cough violently. "Do you have hot coffee without sugar?" asked the man hoarsely.

A Dangerous Atrophy

A Dangerous Atrophy

Unbeknownst to her, her smiling face was as white as a ghost’s. The man on the sofa lifted his head from his book. His gaze landed on her face first, then it traveled slowly down to her fingers that were gripping the blanket in front of her chest tightly. His dark eyes traveled from her knuckles that turned white to the veins that were popping out from the back on her hands. Then, it moved up to the woman’s face that was as white as a ghost’s once more.

ok, just finished reading. it's an engaging story.. though i prefer more tragic end, like Jane died and leave everyone in regrets and despair...LOL. also would like to know if Jason Dunn died or survived and what happened to Susie Thompson, Hyden etc.
Lair El Greco
Hands down. Kudos to the author! I cried buckets from beginning to end. Definitely not your walk to the theme park kind of love. It shows you that love comes in different shape and form, not just lip service. It's heavy but no regrets. Wish the sexy scenes could be a little more elaborate, though.

SniperShot

SniperShot

She did not represent a Candy anymore. "Good. You are awake." The unknown man that enters spit as he takes a stand infornt of me. A huge cut across his face resembles his toughness and it does terrify me too. He was scary looking and did I mention big? With big I mean Arthur times three. I am afraid that this man is going to kill me with one punch. His emotionless eyes confirmed it. "I need to pee." Was the only words my mind decided to let through. "Then pee." His rough accented tongue spit.

The Entangled Fate

The Entangled Fate

There was something about the way he moved that frightened Jacquard, something predatory, like a hyena or a wolf edging towards its prey. Suddenly a shaft of light revealed the man's face. It was a horrible mass of scars, like a pile of red worms. He only had one eye. " Help a sick man, would you, Master?" the man said. Without intending to, Jacquard gasped. The man extended a large, gnarled hand towads Jacquard. A terrible odor accompanied him, like the scent of a rotting deer Jacquard had once smelled when he went on a camping trip out west.

The Scar Face

The Scar Face

I put my hands on his chest and pulled my face a little back so that I don't have to face his nasty one. "You got so-...." I frowned and snapped my head to the right only to find that blonde guy who was new in our street standing with his hands in a fist as he glared at the scar face. "Let the girl go." He yelled and my eyes widened. Oh no! He shouldn't get in this. He is new here so he doesn't know what kind of monsters these men are. Everyone looked at him from head to toe...some looked at him in shock, some in amusement and the man holding me down was looking at him with his usual cold gaze.

Mated To Two Alphas

Mated To Two Alphas

In a sudden, swift motion, the man with the cold demeanor grabbed the neck of the other guy and twisted it to the back, and he fell to the ground, dead. The man with the cold demeanor moved towards Vanessa, and just when he was before her, he slowly took off his mask to reveal his face. Vanessa gasped as she saw that he was… He had a breathtakingly muscular face that would enchant any being. Vanessa looked up at him in awe; she wondered how it was possible for a rogue to be that magnificent. Rogues mostly have scars on their face that make them look rather scary to the weak. However, this one right in front of Vanessa was so different.

Trading My Cheating Ex for His Alpha Uncle

Trading My Cheating Ex for His Alpha Uncle

ZARA “They want me dead. I need to get out of this city. I’ll call you when I arrive at my destination,” a faceless woman said in a panicked tone into the phone as she quickly reached for a toddler inside a crib. What was happening? I wondered. The woman, whose face appeared completely dark like a shadow, packed a few things into a backpack and hurried toward the door. But the moment she opened it, a giant faceless man appeared before her. He held a large axe, and before the woman could react, he hacked through the middle of her head with it, splitting it open with brutal force. Blood splattered everywhere.
