“Wait, is this some kind of content idea or…”
“Can you do it or not?” My patience snapped, sharp and clipped.
He blinked, then nodded quickly. “Of course I can.”
“Good. Then get on with it.”
I shifted my attention to Tessa. “Thrash the room more. Make it look like hell exploded here.”
She froze, hesitation flickering across her face. But then she swallowed and obeyed, knocking over a chair, dragging books to the floor, adding to the chaos already there.
The scene was becoming exactly what I needed, messy, violent and believable.
