Before they could fire we both twisted their necks and slowly lowered their bodies on the ground. "Centaur any movements inside?" I asked. Mamba's dragging the bodies on the bushes. After they had gathered ideas from each one of them regarding how the maze should appear, they came to the final conclusion of creating a wooden tabletop maze that is open to the air, with lights and decorations inside and out. The maze would be designed with a musical key at each dead end that buzzes when a wheeled toy or whatnot comes in contact with it. I whine, rubbing my eyes–partially blinded, I think. Kaleb shushes me, giving me a tender squeeze on the back of the neck, then crouches to adjust the laces holding my sandals to my feet. My vision begins to clear, and I gasp, my chest convulsing, as walls of thick trees and vines rise in the near distance, a gaping, yawning entrance to the maze completely shrouded in shadows. As Anaya burst through the wall, pieces of metal flew into the large room, and her eyes widened in reaction to what she saw. The center of the maze was a large laboratory. Men dressed in gray protective suits walked around, carrying different items from one place to another. Others remained at their desks, mixing chemicals and observing the reactions. Queen Elizabeth stood at the center, observing and supervising her workers.

Deanna took a deep breath and let it out as she took one step into it. She started down the paths and they could see how this would be a perfect place for another secret area. As soon as you get past the hedges on either side it was like sound wasn’t there. It would be easy to slip in to the maze and disappear.
