I purchased the book and read it, it was about the biography of one of the descendants, I found a place where she had discovered more about herself in a particular book. I took note of her name and sent a mindlink to Axel and Dante to meet me in the Library at midnight. When I checked my time, I realized I had spent over four hours locked up in my room surfing the internetnet for the slightest clue. I decided on midnight since it was almost time for dinner. I ordered the guards to send my dinner to my room.

I have been seated for over five hours in the damn library with nothing to eat or drink as I read the old books and papers with a smell that makes me want to puke. My eyes have not dared to close on me as I read the thirtieth book. I have not found any useful information that can locate the blood moonstone and finish this once and for all.

But as soon as she got into the living room, the two books were on the table. "Why are these books here?" she asked herself. The last time she saw these, they were in her room, on the bookshelf. She looked around; the place was too quiet. "They must have realized that I left," she whispered. Verena grabbed the ancient books and hugged them tightly. Failed. That’s why the library’s always empty during the day. It’s not a real library—not during the hours that matter. It’s a front. A 24-hour gateway to… whatever the hell that was. By midnight the ache was unbearable. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t think. My hand slipped under the waistband of my pajamas almost without permission, circling slowly, but it wasn’t enough. I get up from the sofa and return the book I was reading to its rightful place on the shelf, then go up to the next floor and run my fingers along the edges of the shelf to read each book's code to find the one I want. Once I do, I take it to the centre of the library where a 4-foot podium resides. The podium is made with magic so it’s the only thing in this library I can see.
