I nod, prepping the incantation. It’s simple—a few words, a gesture. But devastating if done right.
At the tree line, I can see our people fighting like hell—but they’re vastly outnumbered.
Mist splits us down the middle with a sweep of her arms, sending half left, half right. Once everyone’s in position, she gives me a nod.
I push my hands out and whisper the final word.
The ripple of the spell is visible—like a wave of shadowed energy sweeping across the battlefield. One by one, the demons and enemy gods flinch, their confidence crumbling. They go on the defensive. Some even turn to flee.
