The Moon Rises In The Novels & Stories

“On what we do when it rises.” Kade’s mouth curved, sharp and sad. “Then let’s give it something worth watching,” he said. I squeezed Lucian’s hand. Felt Kade’s warmth at my other side. Looked up at the almost‑fully red moon staring back. *Tomorrow, the blood moon rises,* I thought, as the wolves’ voices braided together into one sound. *And everything we’ve been is judged.*

I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

Ahri replied. "So, how are we going to find the bracelet? This is our last life and we should find it before the next full moon of this year. The New Moon today has an illumination of 0%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On March 22 the Moon is 0.36 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases," Ahri voiced out her thoughts.

Lucinda can also be short for Lucia. My mother was the one who ended the war. The savior, whom they called the Moon Goddess, had silver hair, ended the war with the demons, and then disappeared for 500 years. My mind was about to be fried when I put the pieces together, all the evidence leading towards my mother. She's not only the princess of Altera but the Moon Goddess!

Accusations flew, claws were half-drawn, zombie fists clenched, and sparks of witch fire flared in the dark. “Everyone look! The moon!” Toby’s voice cut through the noise. They looked up. The moon was rising. Its silver light spilled across the cave floor, glinting off the pool in the center. The fighting faltered. Jerry seized the moment. “The moon is here. Stand down everyone. Whatever this is the Goddess will reveal it. Reluctantly, they obeyed, forming a ring around the pool. As the moon’s rays hit the water, it began to bubble softly.

She looks up, and it's true. It has been rusting ever since last spring if you believe the papers, but who would still believe them nowadays? They have been lying for a year now. Except, when it comes to the moon. With its brown spots, it looks marbled. As if someone had taken it off the sky by the start of the year in order to petrify it. Like what they’ve done with life.

Now, more than ever, I needed it. Not too far from where everyone stood, further on, you could see a beautiful sight off the cliff we were standing on. Being Summer, the moon had already begun to rise and show itself whilst the sky was still light, but traditionally, the fight would not begin until the night sky was entirely dark and the moon was glowing, as if the Moon Goddess herself was watching us. It was almost time; the stars had begun to light up the sky, as well as the soft radiance of the moon, which reflected beautifully on the ocean, shimmering like diamonds.

She fits here — we both do. At the edge of the construction site, I stop and look up. The moon sits high and sharp, cutting through the clouds like a blade. Crescent Reign rises beneath it — strong, quiet, inevitable. And for the first time in years, I feel no need to chase anything at all.

Stephen smirked. “Yeah you’re right. This place fits me well.” They all talked for a while but now it was getting dark the moon was coming out. “We should probably go inside.” Greg said. “I think the supper’s also ready.” Stephen told. Dara kept on looking at the moon. It seemed as the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. Ellen shook Dara, “Come on honey it’s getting dark and cold.” Dara went inside with her family but she wished to stare at that beautiful thing for a little longer.

The forest around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in their primal dance. As they ran, the moon rose high in the sky, casting a silver glow over the forest. The air vibrated with an otherworldly energy, as if the very gods themselves were watching. Suddenly, Athena darted to the side, her body hurtling towards a massive stone outcropping. Tristan followed, his heart pounding in his chest. They collided with a fierce crash, their bodies slamming against the rock as the moon reached its zenith. In that moment, the world around them dissolved. The Moon Goddess, Selene, descended from the heavens, her ethereal form shining with a soft, lunar light.
