He came in two minutes later. "What did you have to say about this book Miss Blossom?" He sat down, pushing to my front a weird book, asking me explanations on a book I know nothing about. "Who owns this book?" I asked after minutes of blank stare at the book. "The answer should be from you, we found it in your locker, while we're searching everyone's locker." He said with a suspicious look. I laughed, I shouldn't be laughing in this situation but I am. I mean have never even seen this book in my life, this is my first time. It says on the book "the book of secrets.

He knows..... William pov Getting home I saw the package Nathaniel was talking about. I opened it and it was a picture of I and Jade on our first date. On top was written: I know your secret. Shit! He knows! Is that why he is intentionally keeping Jade around? To hurt us? Does he know that I was the one who drove the car? I didn't waste anytime, I rushed to my former work place to check the case again. Was he at the scene? If he was why didn't he say anything?

His gaze swept the shelves with a hunger I recognized all too well. “Looking for something… thrilling,” he said, voice low. I leaned forward slightly. “Try The Silent Corner, it’s about secrets that change everything.” He nodded, brows furrowed, then murmured, “Secrets change everything.” The bell jingled again. A teenager, headphones around his neck, glanced nervously at the counter. “Uh, do you have any fantasy? Like with dragons?”

She knew something. My eyebrows arched. “How did you know?” “Haven’t you learned not to ask that kind of question?” “Right. Her father is looking for the lost book, Medea. He said it’s rare, but I have doubts.” I had a feeling she knew something about it, too. So, I’d just ask away. “Was it top secret? What do you think about that book?” “It’s a myth.” “I know about the story or that play.” “No. The book is a myth. The Medea you’re looking for. It’s a secret file to scare mafias.”

His voice sounds smug. I frown at him. I don't understand. I want to know the secret. "That one," he says. He brings me close to the bookshelf and nods at it. He doesn't look at me. "The red one. With the silver title." My hand shakes a little when I reach out. I touch the book he said. I pull it toward me. The book tilts but it doesn't slide off the shelf. It turns forward and clicks. I gasp when the whole bookshelf spins away. Behind it is a tunnel. A secret tunnel.

I raised an eyebrow, needing to have it all laid out. I knew, somewhere deep down, that I should ask more questions. But in the moment, I repeated the one that mattered to me most. “I’m not a secret anymore?” “Not from Beth.” I saw the faintest hint of conflict in his eyes. Even so, hearing the words again felt like a forklift had just been lifted off of my soul. Beth knew. Danny chose me. I was no longer a secret. Between that… the relief that my earlier insecurity was proven wrong… and the way the mate bond sparks pulled at me… I was a goner.

Wednesday June 22nd, 1977 I found something neat about the book. No one has written in any of the pages yet (except for me). Or so I thought. I found a secret flap at the back!
