The Neon Bible Book Novels & Stories

He questioned and didn't wait for a reply before continuing. "This is the book of the goddess, the one which contains Selene's blessings." Alpha Nicholas revealed. "The goddess's book? But how? I thought it was lost decades ago." Luna Nevaeh questioned. "That's what everyone else thought as well but I've managed to obtain it. If the legends are true then that means, we can both get one wish, any wish at all if we open this book." Alpha Nicholas said and Luna Nevaeh gasped. "I sincerely hope that it's true, this really is our last hope. Kayden doesn't seem to have much time anymore." She said and he put his hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

I stepped beside him just as he was crumpling the paper in a clenched fist. “Neo.” He turned to me, smiled, and threw the crumpled note away. “Nothing important.” My brows furrowed. “What do you mean nothing important?” I bent to pick up the paper, unfolding it carefully as he walked past me inside. It was truly a Bible. And it read; Leviticus 18:22 ‘You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.’ Chills spread through my body. The second one read.

I sensed a surge, Nyra's presence and pried it open. My fingers skimmed page after page until I found it. Tenebrium: The Path of the Hollow Flame. A forbidden rite calling upon celestial darkness—light tainted by loss, grief, and vengeance. This rite allows the user to trade part of their soul for immortality or control over deathless shadows. Once begun, it cannot be undone. I stared at the page, my head spinning as I went over the words again. My hand trembled as I closed the book. A cold sliver of fear slipped down my spine. Selene wasn’t just playing in darkness. She was preparing for war.

___ Selene’s POV The dim candlelight flickered against the old parchment as Selene traced her fingers over the delicate pages of the book Ronan’s mother had given her. The scent of aged paper filled the air, mingling with the subtle hint of burning wax. She had spent hours pouring over the text, meticulously taking notes on anything that seemed remotely useful. The book contained knowledge lost to time, secrets about the origins of their kind, forgotten magic, and hidden weaknesses that could turn the tide of war.

I said and tapped her shoulders, "I guess I need to crack this code faster so as to not embarrass Gwyneth." Sahra and Jigen stared intently at the statue, trying to identify the underlying message the stone statue is trying to depict, "Conquest of Canaan… isn't that a biblical excerpt from the Book of Joshua that follows the events after the Book of Deuteronomy before the Conquest began?" Jigen recalled. "Bible? You mean the Holy Archives? Sahra asked. "Listen youngsters, during my time we still call it that way… although the problem is—" "Have both of you remember reading it?" I asked, although I guess this statue was really derived from that narrative.

Beneath it was various other books, none that I recognized except a translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls. “I know it can be intimidating and unnerving to think the answers to what you’ve seen these past few days...and to more than you know are mostly contained in this. But trust me. When I finish educating you, it will all make sense.” And there was his hand on my arm again. I knew now this wasn’t his way of flirting, but his way of consoling. I looked at the mound of books. He cracked open the bible to Genesis, chapter 6.

“Blаkе, уоu’vе bееn keeping ѕесrеtѕ thіѕ whоlе tіmе.” I can’t deny it, and I саn’t gіvе hеr tоо muсh. I nod. “Neon Lірѕ іѕ оnе оf Jеѕѕuр’ѕ аѕѕосіаtеѕ.” “Hоw dоеѕ ѕhе knоw whо I аm and whу dоеѕ ѕhе саrе thаt wе’rе together?”

“It’s not a blank book see” I hold up the book to show him the page I’m currently reading. He bursts out laughing. “Well it must be written in invisible ink because all I see is a blank book” I look up at Delilah confused as she all but runs to me. “Hmm curious. Faith can you really read that book?” “Yes it’s about the history of the three fates and a some what prophets it mentions the child of light, the moon goddess’s blessed and the dark knight” Both Destin and Delilah look at each other in shock.

Cole asked, getting on his feet also. “Hey Man! Don’t tell me, you don’t understand this?” Anthony asked, flipping the page of the book to where the full details were written. “I don’t. Can you tell me?” Cole asked, giving him a go ahead. “C’mon Cole, you ain’t this dumb right? Think dude” Anthony motioned, as he motioned the book towards Rex… He read the inscription on the book aloud, still not getting the hint. “THE DANGER OF A LYCAN FATE TO A LUNA – MOON GODDESS MYSTERIES”

"This bible was a gift from my adoptive daughter. You can't want to steal it. There are jewels in the drawers, money under the mattress. Leave my bible alone.” "This is not a bible," I rustled, taking a step forward in the room. I stopped on the other side of the bed, and the old man tilted his head to hear where I would stop. "It's a book to summon demons and terrible creatures from hell. If you are religious as you make it seem, you should know it very well. So give me back, and don't make me find out if there's a demon owning you.” The man turned pale, but his cracked and slightly curved mouth curled.
