I can't use any of my usual tactics to deal with Sara's grief. "I need to read one of those books Jannah handed out," I mumble as the machine halts, and the doors reopen. I head towards Sara's door, and I can't help but get excited. Even if the next few weeks are hard, all of my time will be split between her and paperwork. She can even hang out in my office with me. I tried to reassure her. I wanted it to be okay, obviously. That was all I wanted.
