Ralphin grinned, and then he bore down on Atticus, fists blurring as they thumped and punched, teeth clacking with the force of his attack. Atticus lunged, a muscle feathering in his jaw as he thrust back at Ralphin. He saw red, unable to think, unable to feel, beyond the pull and flex of his muscles hitting and kicking and clawing. He saw Lily, brown eyes wide and glittering with tears, her full mouth turning down at the corners before she turned away. The morning sun beat down on his bare skin, and his forehead glistened with sweat.

They really do not understand, and they really are not capable of understanding everything, in order to be able to say words that will justify the actions that they take. One of the guards shouts, voice sharp and urgent. The noise outside seeps in, screams, shattering glass, chaos. I don’t slow. I burst out of the doors into a scene from hell. Flames licking up the driveway, overturned vehicles, my guards and some of the betas and gammas locked in combat with a wave of young rebels; boys and girls with plaques, fury, and confusion in their eyes. Some are leaping over the stone fence, teeth bared, transformed already. Rage coils sharply in my chest.

He wiped it away with the back of his hand, his breathing slow and controlled. Instead of apologizing or explaining, he smirked. Archie shrugged off the hands trying to hold him back, rolled his shoulders, and said coolly, “Jealous, Rollins? What can I say? She enjoyed it.” That did it. Rollins lunged forward like a wild animal. Chaos erupted, shouts filled the air, and punches flew. Rollins swung with pure anger, Archie hit back with precise blows, both of them fighting like their pride depended on it. Students began gathering in a circle around them, drawn by the spectacle of two alpha heirs clashing.

Half of me was afraid the man might ask to shake my hand later on and not wash it for a month while the other half won’t stop cackling with a sense of superiority. The bikes revved and spun, burning rubber, doing stunts as the street turned into an unholy concert. And then it happened. One girl stumbled too far forward, collapsing into Rhett’s path. Gasps rippled through the mob.

He opens his link with Romeo and says, “No doubt they will probably be watching as the cowards they are, so we are going to have to fight. Before Romeo leaves the safety of the main battle camp, he turns just in time to wrap his arms around the female that collides with his chest. Roy rushed to them and grabbed one of them by the neck. He snapped off his neck and threw him against the others so they they fell to the ground.

he roared, his voice a thunderclap of defiance. The rogue laughed, a low, guttural sound that sent chills down my spine. Its eyes burned with savage delight as it tightened its grip, and I realized with stark clarity that the battle for survival had only just begun. Ralph fought with raw determination, his fists flying in a storm of rage and desperation as he grappled with the rogue. The creature snarled, its teeth flashing menacingly under the dim light of the storm. The night was alive with chaos—the wind roared, and the rain poured down in relentless sheets, soaking us to the bone.

His eyes widened at the sight of Zed gripping the head of the ax with his bare hands in a prayer position. ''Zed!'' Ryder stood up and kicked the old man without hesitation with full knowledge that the old man was just a citizen. The ax dropped and Zed winced in pain, holding his hands together to try to slow down the bleeding. People started to gather around and one of them helped the old man stand while he was yelling at them, revealing that Ryder and Zed were actually outsiders. The men responded to his call and formed a ring around them, ready to pulverize them.
