The Owl House Lumity Novels & Stories

I shifted into my Owl and took off for the small cabin, Prince Liam informed me would be my hideout until it was time. The small single room cabin wasn’t far from the gardens of the palace, and it was very well taken care of. There was a small bed of flowers around the front porch and a single swing in the front. Very sweet, like a child’s play house tucked away in the forests of fairytales. When I entered the painted blue and white cabin, one bunkbed and a single bed were tucked away in the corners near the back with a wood table and three chairs set just under the front window. I could imagine three little children playing house. When I took a closer look at the beds, carved into the wood

“We… we need to know. Our daughter… She’s been… involved with the Moonlit pack. And we need to know…” The Oracle regarded them with a knowing look, as if she could see straight into their minds. “Ah, I see.”, she said softly. “Yes, I have sensed the stirrings of destiny surrounding your daughter. There is indeed a connection between her and the Moonlit pack, a bond that transcends time and space.” Elio and Leonora exchanged stunned glances, their hearts pounding with a mixture of fear and disbelief. “But… what does it mean?”, Elio asked, his voice trembling with emotion.

Orion grins slightly as he nods, agreeing to Arwan’s words. The air tightens between them. No effort to ease into the conversation. Orion doesn’t hesitate. “Did you always know?” Arwan tilts his head faintly, just enough to seem curious. “About what?” “Don’t make me say it twice,” Orion replies, voice clipped. “Did you know Lumina was a white witch?” Arwan doesn’t blink. He says nothing for a while before his lips moves. “It was obvious.” A pause, tight and bitter.

I ask, confused. Looking back at me, Lumi lowers her head once more, then moves it closer to me. “I, Lumi of the old Snowpaw pack, accept you as my human, my other half,” she whispers, and as though instinct calls to me, I lean forward, placing my forehead against Lumi’s head.

The owl rolled her bright eyes. "Why do you always do that to me?" Cassandra cried, still breathing hard. "Can't you be normal like other birds?" "Enough nonsense," the owl said. "And stop shining that damn light in my face, you're going to blind me." With her shaking hands, Cassandra struggled to switch the flashlight off, which threw a wavering ellipse of white into the sky. She wondered if anyone would see it, but if anyone was looking, it would be Ruslan, who was probably watching from their bedroom window by now.

“Silence, everyone! Let our Luna Ivy talk, she got some important announcement.” “Thank you, my sweet Alpha.” Ivy smiled at her mate and caressed his stubble. She cleared her throat and took center stage once again. “As you all know that I have won my place as the main Luna of the Luminar by fighting my cousin, Hyacinth fair and square. Now, another hurdle befalls me, as the power that has to be mine, half of it got stolen and transferred into another mystic blood body, a halven, named Cattleya Hunt.”

"Something's wrong." Before Milak could respond, the front door burst open, slamming against the wall with a deafening bang. A gust of wind swept through the house, extinguishing the fire in the hearth. Aqua screamed, clutching her mother's arm as figures cloaked in darkness flooded into the room. The Witches of Fortuna had arrived.

“As you have been apprised, I am Lumos Valenhart, though most know me by the more ancient appellation: The Oracle.” His sightless eyes seemed fixed directly on my face, unnervingly reading my every thought. “I willingly relinquished my sight, a personal sacrifice made to better channel the strength of the moon, accomplished with the assistance of Demeter, another esteemed Elder among your ranks.” “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you formally, Elder Lumos,” Eve began, her composure impeccable. “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” I echoed, attempting to match her professionalism. “I’ll leave you to it then, Elder,” Alpha Sano said, giving Lumos a brief, respectful pat on the shoulder.

A large window at one end of the room bathed everything in the soft, golden light of the setting sun, while ornate chandeliers hung overhead. Mara, Alpha Jake, Troy, Jay, Elizabeth, Jasmine and Elvie sat around the polished wooden table. Their expressions were a mixture of confusion and concern. Mara, the future Luna of the Silver Moon Pack, was known for her strong and confident demeanor. Still, on this occasion, her brow furrowed as she gazed at Elvie, who appeared distant and vacant.

“Crabface!” Everyone took a short glance at Robynn and Errol from afar. Lana and Owl finished one of the Silverhounds. “What the hell are they doing?” Owl asked her, pissed off that the other two were joking around. “I-I don’t know,” she answered. “Is he trying to distract him?” “Maybe.” Owl looked at the other side. Suddenly, a red, glowing seal emerged from the ground, indicating that the other moonchild was prepared to launch his archaic attack.
