I generally don’t like hospitals but I’ve been doing this long enough to tolerate it. I walked into the hospital with my people and the team of doctors were waiting to receive me. We make small talk before we moved to the wards where the people are being kept. I have fourteen new pack members and I have to see that they are all taken care of properly before they are merged with the remaining pack members. we need to prevent a pandemic from breaking out. “My Alpha, I would love to see you in private.” My favourite pack doctor called out and I excused myself from the rest of the train before walking into her office with her. Whatever she wanted to tell me had better be very important.

I walk back downstairs and Natalie is waiting for me. The pack doctor is waiting for you. He said he has to examine you to make sure it's nothing more than the mate bond. Natalie says So I still have to go through what I normally go through when I have a doctors appointment? I ask Basically yes but it's for your own good. She says We walk into the pack clinic and right away they take me back. Natalie stays back and waits in the waiting room. The pack doctor looked to be in his late fourty's. He was tall and thin with brown hair. He had gray hair starting to come in and he had some wrinkles.

HUNTER’s POV “Doctor, how is she?” I ask the moment Doctor Olcan steps out from behind the dark mahogany door. Doctor Olcan is our pack doctor, he looks at me and pushes the round rimless glass up to the bridge of his crooked nose, silently shaking his wintry white head. I feel my gut clench. Why is he shaking his head?

It didn’t take long for the pack doctor to arrive. Looking slightly bedraggled, and drk crescent circles shadowed his eyes. He had obviously pulled an all night shift. And I hoped that I hadn’t been the cause of it. “Right, Miss Summers.” The doctor began, pulling my notes out of a holder at the end of my bed.

I looked at Pack Doctor gentle, I did not expect him to be so unhygienic and like to prank people, I hurriedly struggled for help. "No, no, no, no, put me down! I'll do it myself! Don't you touch me!" Xavier did not cooperate with Pack Doctor as he released me from his back. Pack Doctor heard the movement of me running away and deflated; "Welp, how boring, Williams you help slave not me." I avoided the Pack Doctor to hide far away, himself lightly touched the cabinet, straight out of bandages and anti-inflammatory hemostatic medicine. Pack Doctor see can't tease me, bored to sit back in his place, set up another leg, and then play the video to continue rubbing feet.

Elena threatened the Pack Doctor with a sharp look. The pack doctor seemed afraid because he didn't want his career as a pack doctor threatened. Although his conscience rejected Elena's request, he preferred his family. The doctor still had three young children who needed their father to work for a living. "Yes, Miss. Elena. I will do my best to cover up and protect your plan as well as Mrs. Sofia." Said the pack doctor. "Good, now do normal things as usual. We'll help Luna Camille with the contractions first, then I'll take care of it," Elena said again, and the pack doctor nodded in obedience.

Sean replied, and he and Colin talked about what type of fighting style the pack used as they walked. “This is the pack hospital,” Colin said, nodding at a small, square, building. It was painted white and had a flat, slightly tilted roof. In front of the building there was a small parking lot. A sign on the side of the door showed a red cross with a stencilled wolf's head in white in the middle of it. “It’s not much, but our pack doctor, Doc, and two nurses make sure we are taken care of,” Colin said. Adina looked at it curiously.

He put the paperwork together with brusque movements, before slapping it into the middle of the table. “I personally like the idea of starting a fire with it,” Aislen told him honestly. “Is it possible that the pack already knows about this?” Talen asked him. “No,” Heath shook his head with certainty. “It would have come up in the pack gatherings, there would have been discussions and…” He shrugged. “We would have known about it.” “The pack did not kill Patrick Carter?” Talen asked him. Aislen felt a twinge around her heart at the question. She had, she thought, brutally been pushing aside her feelings about her father and his manner of death.

“That wouldn't be possible. Even though it was, the appointment usually takes hours. You couldn't possibly leave your place of duty for that long a time. Who will look after the pack after you're gone?” “You don't have to worry about that. I have advisors and elders who will keep the pack steady while I will be away. If anything happens, I will be notified.” Shit l, that didn't work. Luckily I wasn't dunning out of options anytime soon. “Besides Lucius, this doctor is in my pack. You know no one will allow you to enter my pack.” He snapped his fingers as if he had just gotten an idea. “Can we do it in my pack? Or maybe I could sneak in using the boot of your car. That way no one will see us

The pack doctor entered the room with a smile on her lips. “It's my pleasure to meet you, Luna Zenaida. Beta Stephen told me about what happened to you based on what Alpha Ares had told him.” I nodded my head in response to her. The pack doctor brought her things inside and my brows were furrowed when I saw some equipment that I haven't seen before. “Can you tell me what you feel?” She was checking my heart when she uttered those words. I let out a deep breath before responding to her.
