Chasing Feyre: Cold Alpha's Beta Mate

Chasing Feyre: Cold Alpha's Beta Mate

Especially since I’m not healing. Hospital beds are supposed to have wheels, right? Thinking of that, I try to move my entire body to see if the bed will move. Pain shoots up my spine, reminding me of the multiple sequences of abuse it underwent. There is no way I can move without shifting my back. If I want to get out, I just need to get over the pain. The pain would last at most a day or two with a good healing potion. Staying here will cause more damages that will take longer to heal.

I have to say that this book is really amazing until chapter 165, after It gets stranger chapter by chapter. At the end there are a lot of mysteries that left unresolved, perhaps for a second book However, I must say that I have really enjoyed this story, it has plenty of funny moments

Awakening Pain

Awakening Pain

The stage lights bathed him in a warm, almost comforting glow, but his heart continued its frenzied rhythm. However, as his fingers brushed the keys, the initial nervousness gave way to a sense of purpose. The audience, once a formidable entity, now transformed into a supportive presence. Bless began to play, each note resonating with a power and grace that transcended his early years. The music he created was his connection to the crowd, a language that needed no words. With each keystroke, the auditorium seemed to shrink, and Bless felt a profound connection with the people before him.

His Rejected Mate

His Rejected Mate

The pain was dull now — not sharp like it had been yesterday. Not the searing kind that made my body jerk or my mind scream. This pain was deeper. Softer. The kind that makes you float somewhere between sleep and sorrow, somewhere between memory and madness. I was healing. Shane said I would live. But I wasn’t sure that I wanted to.

Bound By Bloodlines

Bound By Bloodlines

Dorian sat in his chambers, leaning back in a chair, his body still recovering a little bit. His wound, though it had started to heal rapidly, but it continued to throb with a deep ache. His body’s accelerated healing process was a gift, but it was far from perfect, and the pain served as a constant reminder of how far he had pushed himself. His mother, Ulva, moved around him with grace, tending to the wound, her every motion filled with care and precision.

Trapped In Beastly Desires

Trapped In Beastly Desires

The pain heightened as the beast inside struggled to break through the Hydro-p chemicals, medications and herbs, and push the bullet out of his system. As the pain claimed him, he panted, groaned, fisted his hands, shook his head, opened and closed his eyes, twisted his legs. He could feel the bullet moving inside him. The healing process had the pain becoming unbearable with every second —so unbearable that he fell down and pressed his back tightly against the built-in table, screaming, arching his back and writhing. Three minutes of the maddening pain that drove his response crazy, he screamed loudly. The beast crawled out to the surface, his fangs and claws shot out, his eyes darkened thr

From ruin to the Lycan King's Luna

From ruin to the Lycan King's Luna

The shock I had felt then was still just as raw as now. Yet from then till now, no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't add on weight, and the drastic lack of nutrients impacted my healing, reducing it to half its speed. Yet, somehow, deep within I was grateful that I wasn't healing as fast as usual, because the pain was a welcome friend. It was distracting, and it was proof, physical proof that I was still alive, and maybe, just maybe I had gone over the deep end just yet. Because a part of me firmly believes that pain was proof of sanity.

The Lycan Princess' Revenge

The Lycan Princess' Revenge

I screamed as Nova initiated her spontaneous healing. The pain was unlike anything I had ever experienced. My entire body felt as though it was being torn apart and stitched back together simultaneously. Every nerve ending was alight with agony, every muscle fiber screaming in protest. Bones cracked and realigned, breaking and repairing in an endless cycle of torment. Tissue and flesh tore and healed, the sensation a grotesque dance of destruction and restoration. I could feel Nova working tirelessly, her energy melding with mine as she fought to repair the damage. Each heartbeat sent waves of fire through my veins, but I held on, clinging to the faint hope that this torment would end.

SISTER IN LAW

SISTER IN LAW

I answered and smiled at Eddy. And I thought to myself, am I really fully healed from the pain I feel? Am I really ready to forgive them? I smiled in my mind, "Forgive them, my butt!" [Healing means forgiving them.] --and I will never forgive them, that's why I will never be healed. I will never ever forget what they did to me; the scar they caused me will never be erased. There is no cure for the pain I feel until now. I will never be free from this sadness and madness I am feeling,

The Billionaire’s Broken Angel… and His Darkest Desire

The Billionaire’s Broken Angel… and His Darkest Desire

"He's had it from the moment I met him. Even when I left, even when I ran, even when I thought I was building something new—he was always there. Every time a door slammed. Every time someone raised their voice. Every time I flinched at nothing because my body remembered what my mind was trying to forget." She was crying now, angry tears that burned like acid. "You know what healing feels like, Caleb? It feels like ripping off a bandage that's fused to the wound. It feels like breaking bones that healed wrong so they can be set right. It hurts worse than the original pain because at least then I was numb. At least then I didn't know what I was missing."

Time to heal

Time to heal

Couldn’t he see he was ruining his own life going after something that was not even going to make a difference in the end? “I am never going to heal till I get back what I lost. Even then, I doubt I will ever be able to wipe off from my mind the picture of my mother’s dead body hanging from the ceiling.”
