Niyakap niya ang binata ng mahigpit  bago tuluyang tumakbo papunta sa madilim na kakahuyan. Tanging ang liwanag ng buwan ang nagpapaninag sa kanyang dinaraanan. Hindi siya tumigil kahit na narinig niya ang napagsigaw ni Lucas sa di kalayuan.
