After a lot of buttering they finally complied but they have their own conditions. It was my wish to get transferd at Spanzerdrilt so I could get closer to Rosaleigh for the sake of the Promise. Getting married before my coronation ceremony is a way to fullfil the promise. As I turned twenty-one last month my coronation is just two year afar. This is Rosaleigh's last year before she goes for a year of internship as a medical practitioner. Besides that I fear what if Rosaleigh falls in love with a guy in Nashville as she completely has no idea neither of our relationship nor about the NOBLE PROMISE.

Connor peers out the window, wide-eyed despite himself. “Is this a castle?” He asks. Carmen leans forward, grinning. “It looks like one, right? Maybe Daddy’s … Maybe… uh… Daddy Long Legs lives here. From the cartoon. You know. With the… legs,” Carmen says quickly. She knows Madeline does not want them to call me Daddy. Connor narrows his eyes. “That doesn’t even make sense,” Connor says. Carmen huffs, crossing her arms. “You don’t make sense,” Carmen says. Maddie rubs her temple like she’s already aged ten years. I cough into my fist to hide the laugh.

Emily said, feeling pressured. "Do you promise?" Connie asked, ensuring Emily's words. "Yes, I promise," Emily said without thinking, making a promise in front of Connie's friends. Finally, Connie released Emily's hair. Many strands had fallen out, sticking between Connie's fingers. Connie had pulled Emily's hair with enough force to cause that much damage. "Go and keep your promise!" Connie commanded, allowing Emily to leave. Emily walked away from the three cruel girls. As she walked alone, she began to think about the promise she had just made to Connie. She recalled her words and didn’t know how she would fulfill that unintentional promise.

Because Marie had to leave at that time, and in order to conclude their talk and her beautiful bond with Jean, Marie requested, “Jean, promise me that when we both grow up and get a job, we will meet each other. Promise me that you will stay in touch with me; you have my email and my phone number as well. Promise me that you will keep our friendship a secret, and you will not let any other girl become your best friend.” With a very heavy voice and a little positivity in her mind with the hope of meeting her first love again in life after a couple of years, Jean replied, “Pinky Promise!”

"I've been trying to be so good to you." I chuckled softly, laughing at the joke that just came out of Conny's mouth. "Good to me? What you're saying couldn't be further from the truth. There's never been any goodness that Conny has strived for me. Not when we were engaged, or even now that we're on opposite sides. He even threatened me when we met at the plaza and acted like a coward when Easton arrived. And now he arrogantly claims he's been good to me. Maybe he popped some ecstasy pills before meeting me now."

It was because after she returned, she would join the Griffin Pavilion! However, Fennel paid her no heed at all. Instead, he calmly took out an object from his pocket. It was a black iron token with obscure patterns engraved on the back, the Big Dipper constellation in the middle, and a word engraved on the front—king! Fennel tossed the token to Connie and said, “With this, what do you think of my proposal?” Connie stretched out her hand and grabbed the black iron token mid-air. The moment she saw it, she seemed to be struck by lightning and froze on the spot. Her lips were white and trembling, while her eyes were round and wide!

Later in the evening, after Selena had stepped out to walk the last guest out and Baron had gone to tend to their sleeping child, Rome and Connie were left alone in the cozy studio’s living area. “And to think you were fantasizing about Baron in bed when you conceived my nephew,” Connie teased, leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. Rome grimaced and whispered back, “I know, right? I was disgusted with myself.” Connie giggled and sipped her coffee. Rome let her eyes wander across the room, landing on the photo frames lining the shelf above the TV. The photos captured a happy couple and their adorable baby boy. “Tell me the truth, Rosenda Marie,” Connie said, her tone suddenly serious.

The nervous girl finally heaved a sigh of relief at the sight. “Uncle Wayne,” she cried out. Zeppelin whirled around, stood up, and beamed at Connie Yorke. She pounced towards him like a child who had been wronged. Aside from her parents, he was the only other person she usually trusted.
