It just stared blankly at me and I concluded the pup must have been dazed from the amount of blood it had lost. I shook the pup, desperately trying to keep it awake as I mind linked it once more, asking for directions this time. I had to get the pup to its loved ones. The pup replied weakly, giving me directions to it's house which surprisingly was not far from where we stood. I set out with the young injured pup in my arms as I weaved through the forests, heading for it's home. The pup directed me through an abandoned path which I kept to and soon, I was facing a nice cottage on the outskirts of the pack.

Chrystal and her crew were something I would deal with later. Right now, Puppy was more important. As I reached the empty tracks, I immediately scanned my surroundings—but there was no sign of her. Where was she? Furious, I kicked an empty can across the tracks. “Fuck!” I yelled. I turned around again, looking desperately as I looked for any clue of Puppy’s whereabouts.
