"It is now," he said. She watched him for another moment. Then she went back to her cards. "Look," she said after a while. She held one up. King of Hearts. "I found you." He took it from her. Turned it over. "Did you know the King of Hearts is the only face card with four hands? The others only have two."

She looks at me, "You used to visit sometimes, don't you remember?" I shake my head, "If I did, I wouldn't be asking questions." "I was the Queen's maid and Henry's nanny."
