Fear hung heavily over the pack. As Rowan's party entered through the gates, people immediately began whispering. "Luna Elsie..." "She's back..." "That's Alpha Rowan..." Many lowered their heads respectfully. Others looked ashamed. They remembered how they had once mocked the girl who couldn't shift. Now she returned as the Luna of the strongest pack on the continent. The palace doors opened before they even reached them. Beta Thomas came rushing down the steps. He looked exhausted. Dark circles framed his eyes. "My Luna."

In the center of the room was the Pack priest who was standing near the altar. He was old, with white hair that was tied back and deep lines of wrinkles carved into his face. He was putting on a dark grey robe that was decorated with silver threads that gave off shimmers under the torchlight. "Luna Tasha," he said. "I'm glad you are here." I nodded, glancing back at Kirk and Violet who were standing at the door. "I'm ready." He stepped closer. "As you know, tonight we renew the bond between the Alpha's bloodline and the Moon Goddess. Only the Luna has the right to carry the blessing for another year."

Luna shouted and kicked him with all her might which caused her to break free from Marco’s arms, but that fucking Marco changed his form as a werewolf. "Have we started the fight yet?" Luna didn’t reply to him anymore, as long as she hit him right away, but before she could get close to Marco, I decided to end Marco’s plan at her. With a strong wind blowing that caused some sand to rise, I took this opportunity to lift Marco into the air and quickly take him away from Luna. "Where have you been? Get out!" I still hear it clearly, the too much anger on her voice, the tears that is flowing on her eyes that seems shouting the agony she have and her plan to take a revenge to all of us Werewolves

I said turning around but I couldn't find them anymore " Did they all abort their mission? But why ,when they were so close to getting me , what on Earth would be the reason they stopped following me !" " Something's off somewhere, what is it ?"I asked myself thinking so hard " Wait a minute.....Luna ,it's Luna , turn the car around right now , hurry" I screamed and instantly the car was turned around within seconds" " Step on it .....now " I ordered " They weren't after me,but Luna ,she's their Target...they were only trying to get me away from her , and dammit I think I underestimated them , I fell right into their trap "

Alpha Arman asked Amanda while looking at me. "Gabriella told nasty words at me, Dad. She said that she will be the Luna here at the Bloodlust, and she planned to kill me," Amanda said which made my eyes widen. "She said that she is the true Luna in this Pack, so I need to go back to White Moon. She threatened me. She said that she will poison me again, or hire rogue werewolves to kill me!" she continued. Alpha Arman's face got darker and darker while looking at me because of Amanda's lies.

Natalie looks at the luggage beside Trever, smiles, and signals him to stand. "You don't need to bow down to me," Natalie said. Trever looked into her eyes and shook his head. "I am no longer your Luna." She added. Trever sighs, and he knows what Natalie wants to say.

Patrol reports carry fewer red marks. “And Luna,” Lira says suddenly. Rylan smiles faintly. “She sends a postcard from her trip to Africa.” “Again?” “She claims the sunsets there look better each time.” Lira imagines her friend standing at the edge of distant shores, wind in her hair. “She always wants to see the world,” she says. “She is seeing it.” Beta Damon accepts leadership of the LunarStrike pack, and Beta Hale is his beta. His guidance brings stability there as well. Luna travels freely now, sending letters filled with sketches and stories of cities and forests far beyond their borders.
