The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

*** *We will continue. *** The words lingered. *** *For now.* *** And then— it was gone. *** ### The Return of Reality Sound rushed back. *** Color deepened. Light returned. *** The hall snapped back into itself like a held breath finally released. *** But no one moved. *** No one spoke. *** Because now— they understood. *** ### The New Truth Victoria exhaled slowly. *** “That…” she said quietly, *** “is worse than anything we’ve faced.” *** Raven didn’t disagree.

The Hockey Star's Remorse

The Hockey Star's Remorse

Timothy's frustration flared, and I could see the storm brewing in his eyes. I sighed, my own frustration bubbling to the surface. "Timothy, I made progress. I made an audio recording that might change everything. Just listen, and you'll understand." I handed him the phone, the recording ready to unravel the mysteries that lingered in the shadows. As he pressed play, the room filled with Andy's voice, a broken confession that laid bare the chaos of that fateful night. Timothy's expression shifted from frustration to bewilderment, then to a brewing storm of betrayal.

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

The radio crackled to life with a muffled burst. "Repeat?" she said. There was silence, then a single word: "Return." She wrote it down instinctively. It wasn't an order—it was an offer. She scribbled a line underneath the timestamp: Clause Fifty-Six (draft): Listening brings us back to where something once asked to be heard. --- 11:12 AM — Library Ruins, Sector Four Covered by tarpaulins, rescued books had been piled by subject. A group sorted them by community demand—health, irrigation, construction, storybooks.

Return to Power

Return to Power

Suddenly, he felt relieved. Finally, it was returned to its original owner. The guy's action of breaking Durendal just now made him tremble with fear. It was the first time that Durendal had been bent to such an arc. After messing around, they finally fell asleep on the wood. At this time, Jason had returned home and sneezed inexplicably. Madison looked at Jason with a surprised face. "Maybe someone is talking about me." Jason touched his nose and said. Because Madison was pregnant, they were just whispering to each other. Madison was happy to tell Jason what had happened recently.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Dear author, I must confess that after chapter 81 I took a break. I couldn't help but cry as I tried to continue. Little by little, my courage returned, despite the tears. It was truly a roller coaster ride, but it was worth it. This will always be a book that will have a special place in my heart.

TOO LATE TO RETURN

TOO LATE TO RETURN

Lanre declared. Rosa froze. Lanre could say such words at her? Oh because she said horrible words at him, he decided to pay her back this way. "This is your Rosa, Lanre" Rosa reminded him and the latter replied "my Rosa in the past" and hung up. Rosa heard the call ended and left the phone still by her ears. He actually hung up on her? Lanre did? As carefully as someone carrying a crate of egg, Rosa gently brought her hand down to her side. It truly has ended between them.

The Alpha's Return

The Alpha's Return

I couldn't afford to take any risks, and returning home seemed like the safest option. The entire journey was made in silence. Not a single word left our lips as we navigated the roads back to Spring Lake. Sara remained vigilant, her gaze fixed on the rear window, ensuring that we weren't being followed. Meanwhile, Susie fidgeted with the memory stick, her fingers anxiously toying with its edges. As we got back to the pack house, Margaret, was waiting at the door. At first, she looked pissed off, but as we stepped closer, her features softened as she offered a small smile.

My Mate Chose My Best Friend, So His Uncle Claimed Me

My Mate Chose My Best Friend, So His Uncle Claimed Me

Not the lonely kind that had shadowed me through endless lifetimes, but the gentle quiet of a home. Children sleeping soundly. Sunlight spilling across warm wooden floors. A wife softly humming as she ran a comb through my hair to spoil me. I closed my eyes, listening, memorizing, and cherishing every ordinary sound. Because once, I had prayed across countless lifetimes just to hear them again. Now, they belonged to me. Forever. . . . . THE END OF SPECIAL CHAPTERS. --- Mystique Luna's note: Finally! Aurelian's POV is finally done! I'm glad you reached this end! See you again, my dear Lunas! I'm going to miss my dearest Euphyllia and Lucretius <3

An Alpha's End

An Alpha's End

Now, I feel my body weakening and aching again. “Amara,” I called her before she could leave the cabin. “Rest, Sette.” “Promise me you won’t tell anyone about what happened.” She made an assuring smile and nodded as she closed the door, leaving me. My body was too tired that I dozed myself to sleep. I only woke up when I heard Amara’s voice. I squinted my eyes to open. I yawned as I sat up on bed. “We’re back.” I followed Amara outside of the cabin. I saw the greens and life a soil deserved. Different from where I went earlier. When I surveyed my eyes around the ship, most of the passengers have already headed outside.
