The Scorch Trials Novels & Stories

“You keep that up, people will start thinking you’re worried.” “I am,” I said simply. “Because I know what this place does to people.” That shut them up for a moment. I almost smiled. The desert trials weren’t just about skill they were about control. The environment itself tested you. Heat, mirages, shifting ground, creatures that shouldn’t exist. It broke even the strongest warriors. And this time, the prey wasn’t just animals. Marcus must’ve noticed the look on my face. “You think something’s wrong, don’t you?”

He was covered in sensors, his body a map of surgical scars. "Subject 001: Emotional Resistance Test. Trial 4,502," a voice boomed from the walls, identical to the scientist from the probe. A holographic projection of a young woman—a woman who looked disturbingly like Scarlett—appeared in the cage with him. The teenage Caleb reached out, his eyes filled with hope. "Don't touch her, Caleb!" Scarlett screamed, but her voice was a ghost’s whisper in this memory. The moment their fingers met, the woman exploded into a thousand shards of data. A massive electrical discharge hit Caleb, racking his body with agony.

**** The Core Lab The heart of the fortress pulsed with energy. Blue lights flickered across metal walls. Glass capsules lined one side, and inside them were floated failed experiments. Twisted versions of Rose, Sophie, and others whose names Elena didn't even know but whose faces mirrored fragments of the child she had borne. Twisted limbs. Empty, vacant eyes. Mouths frozen mid-scream. One tapped faintly against the glass, as if it still hoped to be saved. Elena fought a wave of nausea as she staggered forward.

Parvina squirmed closer to Saadiya who accepted her into an embrace. Mariam faced her friends. "I think we all know what to do?" "What are you saying? What is there to do? You just threw up your chance of an escape!" Saadiya asked, her worried face looking straight at Mariam. "We have been training for years Saadiya, but for what? For situations like this!" "Are you trying to imply what I'm thinking? You want to..." "I need my outfit." "Mariam!" Parvina shrieked. "Those are men out there! Trained, fighting men! Not wooden dummies!"

My manh**d was already rock hard and it was f**king painful! As a man, I had to do something to help myself in that situation. I had to quench the fire without an actual extinguisher! I squeezed my manh**d hard and then I started moving my hand up and down. I stroked faster and then slower and then again much faster. I screamed and cursed my luck at that moment of torture. "Fu...mmmm...f**k...ahhhh...f**k…! "Just you...you wait till I get you...mnnn...ahh...!"

This man almost doubled his muscle mass. His dark brown hair had subtle streaks of red throughout. His eyes were green with hints of gold. They were the most amazing things I had ever seen. Looking at him made my heart pound. His eyes were focused on mine as he held my gaze. The scar on the left side of his neck was faded, the sight of it enraged me. I didn’t know why I was so upset about him being hurt. I felt myself begin to get lost in his eyes when my mind snapped me out of it.

I didn't need her negativity today. " I know each one of you knows the rules and requirements. But I will still give you a little brief."He said, "The challenge consists of two parts: the Moon Trial and the Sun Trial. The Moon Trial is a test of strength, speed, and endurance, where the Alphas and Lunas have to race across the land under the full moon, facing various obstacles and enemies along the way. The first ten Alphas to reach the finish line will qualify for the second part of the challenge. "

As the applause died down, I took a deep breath and leaned over to him. “Let’s go mingle. It’s part of the job, right?” Favian raised an eyebrow but nodded. “Very well.” We descended from the stage, arm in arm again, and began moving through the crowd. Alphas and Lunas from various packs approached us, offering congratulations. Some looked genuinely pleased, while others seemed curious or even wary. It was all part of the game. I smiled, exchanged pleasantries, and shook hands, trying to keep my nerves in check.

Screams and shrieks scattered around and I fell back immediately in an attempt to save myself from the flames. The weird sisters who were still in the form of the Mother demon screamed the loudest because it had lit up in flames. They screamed and thrashed around and I had to roll away from them. She landed on my car next and the vehicle went up in flames. Suddenly, the Mother demon went up in the sky and escaped at a speed that I was not expecting. What was left of her children from the burning flames went after her, hoping to escape the flames. I was still on the floor when warm hands grabbed me. I looked up to see Selene looking down at me.
