Novel & Cerita Maze Runner Scorch Trials

solid ice balls the size of a human fist shoot out from the triggered spell circles with enough force to knock out a few teeth if Colin isn't careful or if Honey isn't fast enough "--aaand he's through! Did you see that? Those ice balls had taken out nearly half of the other participants all throughout the Tournament but Honey breezes through unscathed! What's this? It seems Zafir and his Sunrise aren't fazed by it either and they are steadily gaining--" Because it was an air race, the participants are guided to the route they need to follow by their holo screens. There are a total of 168 different traps, set to go off randomly in predetermined areas, and racers have to get through the traps

So this is part two of the contest! We will put you inside of the elder maze separately and each room has a higher intensity of gravity and each of you will need to fight with a guardian fighter and the ranking will be based on how long you were there inside of that maze. It means the one who walked outside through that maze earlier would be in the lowest rank. We will give you one day!" "I want to ask?" I saw the sinner's daughter raise her hand. And all of us look at her. "There's someone attempt to kill me and put me into the maze and being there inside is scary because it has a huge earthworm creature that eats a person. How sure are you that we will survive inside?" Xandros' granddaught

He howled, staggering back, swatting wildly at the bird as it pecked and clawed, a whirlwind of black feathers and rage. “Get off me!” Zane roared, blood streaming down his face, but the raven was relentless, driving him to his knees. Then the warehouse doors burst open with a thunderous crash, silhouettes flooding in. Kael and Arlo.

Because this water source was a lot larger than any of the others we'd ever found before, it immediately triggered the location tracking mode in the water detection device. A short while after we'd returned to our temporary shelter, the base camp vehicle had also arrived. Jasper hurriedly dusted off his clothes and straightened them, preparing to step forward with a proud smile on his beaming face. Avery wrapped her hands around his arm, stepping forward with him. "I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly. It's an honor for us, and we're proud to say that we've succeeded in our mission!" Jasper said with palpable excitement, offering his hand for a handshake.

Luna's voice rose to a shout, her aura flaring. It was a mere flicker of her former power, but it was enough to send the omegas scrambling for the door. Marissa shot her one last venomous look before they vanished, their footsteps hurrying down the hall. The moment they were gone, Luna's legs gave out. She collapsed on the vanity stool, her hands shaking violently. The brief surge of power had cost her dearly and nausea returned with vengeance. She barely made it to the toilet before she was retching, her body trying to expel the poison in her veins.

But for every one we hit, three more crawled out of the junk. "There are too many!" Isaac shouted, kicking away a mechanical limb that tried to grab his ankle. "This way!" Mira yelled, pointing to a heavy blast door hidden behind a stack of rusted tanks. "If we reach the tunnels, we can lose them!" We ran. The ground was uneven, filled with sharp metal and slick oil. I tripped over a pile of old wires, nearly dropping Leo. Rowan caught me, lifting me up and pushing me toward the door. The Scrappers were snapping at our heels, their metal jaws clicking with a hungry sound.

The impact crater sprayed dirt and stone, peppering my back with debris. Another boulder. Another dodge. And another. He was using the arena itself as ammunition, reshaping the battlefield with every attack, leaving me less and less ground to maneuver on. The smooth flat floor was becoming a cratered moonscape, and every crater was a trap. Soft earth that would swallow my feet, sharp edges that would cut if I landed wrong. The crowd murmured. I caught fragments. "She can't get close..." "Remus is controlling the entire field..." "It's only a matter of time..."

“What’s life without a little danger, Pack Dog? Keeps things… interesting.” The team pushes through, sweat-slicked and breathing hard - silver spikes erupting from the floor, forcing Torin to leap; a pressure blast knocking Mara back until Reed hauls her clear; a shimmering ward net that snares Keira, her claws shredding it as I slice the anchoring runes with my dagger. The ruins test us relentlessly, magic old and vicious, but we move as one, my rogue instincts meshing with pack precision.

Our task: reach the summit before sunset while carrying supplies, signaling our progress to the observers. The maze was treacherous. Sharp rocks, sudden drops, and narrow ledges forced every step to be precise. Daren slipped once, and instinctively, I reached for him, steadying him while keeping our momentum. Liora’s eyes were fixed on a distant marker, calculating the shortest route while avoiding traps. The bond pulsed, guiding my focus, alerting me to subtle shifts in the terrain and the presence of hidden dangers.

I said, though my stomach twisted with anticipation. Bastion scanned the valley floor. “They’ll attack using both forest and Echo-Binder tactics. Expect traps, sudden strikes, and unpredictable currents. Stay alert.” Mara let out a low whistle, her blades gleaming faintly in the filtered light. “Unpredictable currents, huh? Just what I always wanted before breakfast.” Dren whimpered quietly behind us. “I… I don’t like the feeling of being hunted.” Kael crouched beside me. “Fear sharpens awareness, Dren. Don’t let it control you.”
