“Some secrets don't stay buried.” Elena’s vision blurred for a moment. She glanced around the classroom — every chair in place, every shelf neat. No sign anyone had been there. Her heart pounded so hard it hurt. Outside, thunder rumbled softly — a low warning that crawled through the air. She clutched the note, the words burning into her palm. Some secrets don’t stay buried. For a second, she thought she saw movement outside the window — a silhouette by the gate. But when she blinked, it was gone.

I raised an eyebrow, needing to have it all laid out. I knew, somewhere deep down, that I should ask more questions. But in the moment, I repeated the one that mattered to me most. “I’m not a secret anymore?” “Not from Beth.” I saw the faintest hint of conflict in his eyes. Even so, hearing the words again felt like a forklift had just been lifted off of my soul. Beth knew. Danny chose me. I was no longer a secret. He asked with an annoying face, I growl in anger and tried to snatch it away but he didn't even move cause the craziest part is my hand can't reach it, “Give it back” I groan He pulled dangerously closer and this time, my back slammed against the wall, he slowly bent down to my height level looking me in the eyes, gosh what kind of eyes is this, cold, dangerous and kind of seductive, “So what's your answer, a Yes or a No, remember I have your biggest secret in my hand”

He brought his face right in front of mine as his intense blue eyes stared deeply into mine as if he would find the answers that he was looking for in the depths of my eyes. “What are you doing?” I asked in a small voice as I found myself feeling slightly embarrassed. I could no longer maintain our eye contact and had to look away. “You have to tell me, this is driving me insane…” he said with clear desperation in his voice. My body stiffened beneath his as he cupped the side of my face to make sure that I could no longer avoid my eyes from his. Even with how serious he was, I still couldn't find it in me to divulge my secret to him.

He looked so pitiful with those scratches on his face and the ghastly sight of his tummy wound back at the clinic. How her heart fluttered when she woke up that morning only to be drawn to the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen, that seems to be pulling her into the quietness of it and the calmness of it seas. How lost he looked when he found out he can't remember a single thing about him but his name and how his midnight blue eyes which seems to be crystal blue in the sun and bluish black in dim rooms brightened when she offered to let him stay with her.
