My Dark Desirable Wolf

My Dark Desirable Wolf

When I return, Maxwell is finishing boarding up the windows, and Shadow is drawing something on the floor with a piece of charred wood. “What’s that?” I ask, dropping my loot beside him. “A protection circle,” he replies without looking up. “Magic?” He nods. “It’s not my strength, but it’ll help slow them down if they try to force their way in.” Maxwell lets out a low chuckle from across the room. “Since when do you do magic?” “Since I decided I want to live,” Shadow replies without missing a beat. Time seems to rush past as we work. Maxwell gives quick, sharp instructions, and Shadow moves with the precision of someone who’s been through war before. I try not to think too much about what’s

The Cursed Alpha And His Rejected Bride

The Cursed Alpha And His Rejected Bride

The least I could do was try. I pulled open a few books with cracked leather covers and turned past yellowed pages with trembling fingers. Most of it was nonsense—symbolic poetry, dried-up spells that sounded more like superstition than fact. But something about the shape of the letters still felt heavy. Real. My eyes caught on a passage inked in rust-red: To sever the bond between soul and shadow, one must first expose the tether that binds them. “Oh, what on earth?” I cursed in frustration. “Soul and shadow? What…”

The Blood Bound Legacy

“You think you can fix this? You think you can stop what’s coming? She gave an almost humorless laugh. “You already stand within the trap, little Guardian. A shiver ran down my spine. Maxwell moved in front of me, body taut. “What trap?” Soraya tilted her head. “You think Shadow’s End lets people in just because they seek it? “No.” It was a low voice, almost hypnotic. “You’re here because it wants you here. And it doesn’t just let people go that easily.” Jameson’s face darkened. “We are not in riddles. We need the journal. They needed to learn how to score the Council’s deal.”

Bound by Two

Bound by Two

Humming as I thought about it, then I spoke softly, “I feel the coolness of the shadows against my hot skin, but it’s not a horrible contrast; it’s inviting, almost like a perfect balance. Like we’re a team and not enemies.” “That’s perfect, little bro. Now invite them to you, open yourself to the shadows and allow them to open up to you too.” The images were clear in my head; I could see the shadows opening clearly, allowing me to see and feel the warmth they hide within themselves. Where some think evil and danger lurked within them, I knew it was different. The shadows were safe; they protect us, allow us to breathe, and they heal us. “Remind yourself that there is always that opening, ev

Nora: Rejected Lost Princess

Nora: Rejected Lost Princess

Until I knew who this Shadow was and how deep their influence ran, trust was a luxury I couldn't afford. But even as I gave orders and coordinated security measures, doubt gnawed at me. If this Shadow had gotten to Darian—someone I'd trusted implicitly for years—who else might they have compromised? The thought made my skin crawl. That night, I locked myself in my study with Elena's journal, determined to find answers I'd missed the first time through. The leather-bound book felt heavier somehow, like it contained more secrets than I'd originally realized. I spread it open on my desk and began reading with fresh eyes, looking for any detail that might give me a clue about this new threat.

how many chapters are there in the book and why do you continue to make Carlos a pain in the ass and a main character I thought the story was to destroy him and take everything from him I would think he should be dead not trying to be sexual with Nora she is better than that and needs better than it

Why do I feel the female lead is pathetic? And what's up with these alphas always rejecting someone they like because she's weak only to cry buckets later? The book is very interesting though, I like and recommend it.

Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

Sienna adjusted the collar of her blouse as she stood in front of the small group of women seated in folding chairs. A banner hung behind her, the freshly printed letters reading: Lucia Foundation – Hope Beyond the Shadows. Natalia stood off to the side, clipboard in hand, giving her an encouraging nod. “You’ve got this,” Natalia whispered. Sienna smiled, then took a breath and stepped forward. “Thank you all for coming today. I know how hard it can be to walk into a room like this. I’ve been where you are. Caught in a world that told me silence was survival.”

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

•|•|• For we wolves covet but one thing, and without it, we become undone. •|•|• [SHADE SHADOWS] I stare at the black covers of the journal, my fingers trace the edges. I know that I am alone, but I still look around as if to ensure I am, before lifting one of the loose boards of the shelves, slipping the journal under the hollow wood on a shelf I am sure to remember. I cannot walk around with the journal of an old King, but neither can I continue to read those prized pages within the walls of the library.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

In the Shadow of a Secret

In the Shadow of a Secret

’ Lora snapped as she took out a tray of freshly baked muffins from the oven ‘You know what, only a fool waste time on split milk.’ James scoffed as he cut her “Excuse me? Are you referring to me as split milk?’ Lora shouted angrily ‘This is the spilt milk I am referring to, here, see for yourself.’ James jeered as he threw the envelope of pictures on the table, ‘I can’t wait to hear how proud you are that your efforts have paid off so far.’ Lora walked to the table with a frown on her face, she took the envelope and empted the contents on the table. She felt like someone had suddenly cut off her ventilation as she found herself gasping in shock

The VAMPIRE'S embrace

The VAMPIRE'S embrace

They knew that they were in for a wild ride, but they were ready for whatever secrets The Shadow had in store for them. As they waited for The Shadow to return, Celess and Steve exchanged worried glances. They both knew that they were walking a dangerous path, but they also knew that they had to uncover the truth if they were going to stay alive. Finally, The Shadow emerged from the shadows, holding a small black book in his hand. "I have some information that might interest you," he said, tossing the book to Celess. She caught it, studying the cover with a sense of trepidation. It was a journal - but whose?

And I only got myself deeper in mad. “Ideas such?” “Well…” “When you were daydreaming, Miss Abbott, I was explaining to your friends the Shadow’s theory of…” “Of Carl Jung?” “Yes.” Mr. Darking closed his book and smiled, encouraging me to carry on. “According to Jung, the shadow is the part of the psyche that is made up of all the elements of the personality that the individual has deemed undesirable or unacceptable, such as anger, fear, envy, and other negative emotions.” Mr. Darking looked satisfied with my answer. He lent his back on his desk and asked, “How does the shadow manifest?”
