The Silver Wolf Book Novels & Stories

I kept on reading, hoping to see something that was going to help me. I instantly halted when I got to a particular point in the book. It talked about the strength of the silver wolf. Then I saw it, silver wolves were actually immune to wolfsbane. I suddenly realized that was the same reason I was not affected by the wolfsbane when I was injected. This was really so cool. I continued reading and I was amazed by what was written here about the silver wolf. I was about to flip the pages, when I felt someone behind me. “When did you become so interested in the silver wolf”

He wasn’t getting up. Tracy’s face drained of every hint of color. She staggered back, shaking. The manager almost pissed himself when the beast emerged from the shadows. A massive wolf, it was as black as midnight, eyes glowing silver. Serena’s heart swelled with twisted pride. “Silver,” she whispered, her voice steady and cold. “Show none of them mercy.” She didn’t need to say it twice. Silver never intended to let a single one of them leave alive.

Devon straightened beside me. Silver is extremely harmful for werewolves, especially if injected into their bloodstream, it burns the blood vessels and causes a meltdown of internal organs. The brain stops functioning and renders the wolf incapable to breathe, arteries collapse and the heart shrinks if it survives the burns. Silver is a well known weakness of the wolves and is often used against them. It is banned in all the realms except the human realm. "And you're telling me now?" I asked, scowling at the Ulfric.

Furrowing my brow, I pulled the lamp a little closer so that the soft amber hue illuminated the page. “The Silver Wolf,” I read softly under my breath. My fingers traced the page as I began to read. The strange text had stopped moving, now appearing to be printed just like any other book. For a moment, I wondered if it was some kind of special paper—perhaps it reacted to the oils in my hand and the invisible ink was exposed. Either that, or the book was magic. Fat chance for that, I knew. “The ancient Silver Wolf is an enigma in and of itself,” the book began. “A shifter with immense wisdom and power, the Silver Wolf has the ability to…”

He said, and my eyes widened. " What rank is this wolf?" I asked. " Silver. I believe a Beta," he said, and I wondered why a silver wolf would be in search of her daughter. The silver wolf that attacked us was male. I heard Sam speak his name. " I believe this information is vital to you," Rosehip said with a smile. "And why would it be?" I asked, maintaining my posture. " Did you not sack a silver spirit wolf and its minions a few months ago? I must say I was quite surprised when I heard the news." he pointed out.

“Maya, don’t look at her. Look at me.” But I could feel it. The searing burn of silver, the way it gnawed and corrupted his blood. My wolf surged within me, clawing, straining, desperate to be unleashed. My hands trembled as I pressed them to his back, my eyes shutting tight. I let go of the fear. I let her rise. It was not magic. It was not duty. It was bond, it was love. She opened herself, and the silver came rushing, biting, searing, until it felt as if molten fire poured into my veins. My body shook violently, sweat dripping down my temple as my wolf drew it all into herself, consuming, devouring, cleansing him while tainting me.

“Good morning little she-wolf” It was the same voice as before. The asshole who thought he was going to somehow break me. “Did you know that silver removes the the connection to your wolf and your pack. Leaving you utterly alone? Basically human.” He cackled as I head the scraping of a chair. It settled down in front of me and from the sound of it, he had sat in it. “It sucks to feel alone, doesn’t it? Not to mention the burning from the silver. Hurts like a bitch.”

And then, as if the world had decided to speak its truth to me, I heard the name that had been drifting through the air like a whisper: Ophelia Quinton. The first silver wolf ever recorded in history. The very first one burned at the stake, believed to have brought chaos and damnation to the Pack. I had read that in the worn out pages of a book in the library when I was trying to learn about my wolf. Now, I wasn't just learning about it from the book; I was living in the past that had existed long before I was born. The book never mentioned what her offence was; It only said Ophelia doomed her pack because she was a silver wolf, a rare breed, cursed.

Getting awed by the second as the fight grows with magnifying intensity and bloodlust, my hands fist themselves, my eyes probably star shaped as I pump my fists into the air with a yell. That’s when it hits me like a lightning bolt…I’ve never seen Silver fight like this before. With my exciting charge dying down gradually, watching the animalistic drive both wolves attack each other with…I am taken back to the scene where I first met Silver’s wolf. The gruesome way he dismembered those rogues and that void emptiness that filled his orbs.

“I don’t know, Alpha. We just met when she escaped the Red Wolves and sought shelter in Lucania. The Red Wolves had plundered her village and killed her father and pack. She had nowhere to go.” “Then she is a Silver Wolf. Recently, the Red Wolves attacked the Silver Trails Pack in Yukon. We received a call for help from Alpha Cedrik Belmont, but it was too late. When we reached there, everything was destroyed and all members of the pack were killed. They were the only pack of Silver Wolves on this continent,” said Alpha Alexios with a sigh.
