The Smiling Man Novels & Stories

His low-lying eyebrows raised slightly as he gave her a wicked smile. He looked like a trace of spring snow upon a distant mountain, and when he smiled it was extremely beautiful, a kind of stunning beauty that was eluded words. A few girls behind Nicole instantly screamed. "Ahhhh! He's looking at me, and he's smiling at me too!" "Screw you! He was smiling at me!" The few of them walked over with flushed face as if they were drunk. Even when a distance away Nicole could still hear them discussing, saying things like if only the man was from their school, then Harvey will be dirt.

Her bright smile and her sparkling eyes made her face glow gracefully. Next to Sakura was a handsome young man with tall athletic figure and hazel eyes. He was also smiling brightly, looking so free and happy. They both posed in several positions. Most of their positions were hugging at each other intimately. It was obvious that they were so close and comfortable with each other companion.

So does my back. A shape blocks the light. My eyes adjust, and I convulse back. I don't recognize the man as he smiles, exhibiting the long protruding canines from his mouth as he places his hands on the car frame. He cocks his deeply scarred face, jagged lines that worsen as his smile broadens. "Hello Andrea."

His parents don't seem to have taught him how to be kind or even how to smile a little bit to appear amiable. He should be told that smiling can make you look younger. If Keandrick didn't have a smile on his face, he would age more quickly. What a sourpuss! The strange man's head tilts a little bit, and it appears that he is measuring Keandrick by looking him directly in the eyes. The strange man clapped his hands and finally acknowledged my presence before turning to look in my direction and saying, "Okay so…” As in, hello! I'm not here as a ghost. He hadn't seen me earlier, as if I were some sort of wind sitting here. Tss.

There was silence. Absolute silence. There wasn’t any form of movement, Neither did anyone breathe. Nobody even blinked. Because the man on the screen, the one standing in the hallway of the building, had smiled. Not a random smile. Not a cold smile. Not Nathan’s terrifying smile. No. This smile looked completely different. Like the one of recognition. Like relief. Like he had been searching for something for years, and had finally found it. Amara stared at the screen.

She looked at the man more boldly. The man had his head lowered, his long, thick eyelashes almost covering his brown eyes. His thin lips curled upwards, as if he were born with a smile. Feeling her gaze, the man looked up and met her eyes. Caught staring, Eulalia felt embarrassed and didn’t know where to look. The man grinned, revealing two canine teeth. His smile was dazzling, like sunlight—so bright and warm that you couldn’t help but want to get closer. Eulalia suddenly felt a strong sense of incongruity. The man’s smile was beautiful but too innocent, almost childish.

I turned my head to him He really likes to pick up a fight with me. Does my smile affect his mental health? " What if it does? I saw a man who smiled back at me. I guess my smile did a great job as an organ." Actually, no one smiles at me but I don’t like being a loser especially on someone who’s has a sassy tongue like Mr. Walker. He scoffed " Where is he? " He looked left and right as if looking for the man I was said.

I’d never had anyone look at me like that: with disappointment that I existed. Well, except for old man Gallagher. But I didn’t give a shite what he thought about me. “Let’s try smiling without teeth,” I said to the couple I was taking photos of at a park in the city. The guy was one of those people who look constipated every time he smiled for a photo. Flipping through the ones I’d taken already, I knew it’d be a struggle to find a decent one. The guy smiled without teeth, but he widened his eyes so he looked like a serial killer. Fucking hell.

The man muttered softly unable to stop the sly smile escaping from his lips, he slowly opened his eyes and his smile widened, even more, when he realized what the woman was doing to his body. "It's still so early in the morning, babe." The man whispered and then he hugged the woman while his eyes were staring at the camera she's holding, the man smiled at the camera as if he was trying to seduce the viewer. I just swallow my saliva because, for some unknown reason, I slowly felt a strange heat and lust rushing in my body with just the simple smile of that man.
