“No!” Her scream rips through the night, wild and trembling, echoing into the darkness like thunder crashing through the heavens. The sound rolls over them all, raw and piercing, slicing through the air with the weight of her terror and fury. It silences everything. Even the night creatures go still. The wind seems to hold its breath. Her voice is no longer the soft, timid sound they used to know. It carries power — a power she never knew she had. It shakes the very ground beneath her feet, born from the deepest pit of fear and love and desperation. A mother’s cry.

Just the sound of his voice pinched my heart. "Let’s meet. I’ll let you meet her…"

It was smoky and low; however, the sound that registered to her just now was big, raspy, and sharp.

Then I hear her. A woman’s voice, soft and gentle, drifts through the haze. She’s speaking, but the words are like whispers carried by the wind—just out of reach. I can hear her tone, the lilting rhythm of her speech, but I can’t make out a single word. It’s not another language. It’s as if my mind refuses to process what she’s saying, leaving only the sound of her voice, calming yet inexplicably haunting.

And its voice— Was inside her.
