he says. I blink. “Read?” He nods toward the open Bible on the lectern. “Psalm 51. The Miserere. Aloud.” I hesitate only a second, then cross to the lectern. My fingers tremble as I turn the pages. The text swims for a moment before steadying. “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love…” My voice is soft, unsteady at first. I feel him behind me—close now, just at my shoulder. Not touching, but near enough that the air between us hums.

POV: Rhea Mooncrest "Do you feel that, Queen? The way the sky wants to break for you?" Silas stood at the mouth of the cavern, his scarred silhouette framed by a sudden, violent flash of lightning. The storm had come out of nowhere, a tempest of black clouds and screaming winds that tore through the Whisperpine Forest. Rhea stood deep in the shadows of the cave, her breath hitching as the thunder rumbled in her very bones. The Hex of Desire, amplified by the raw, chaotic energy of the storm, was no longer a dull ache; it was a rhythmic thrumming in her blood that demanded to be answered.

"Idiot, the bride is from the poor family and she is supposed to look poor in front of the prince. You are not supposed to wear makeup for that... You are changing the look of the play... Wash your makeup now!" Jenny got offended. "I am not going on the stage without makeup..." "I am the leader of this play, you have to follow my orders." Julie argued. "Oh really, your orders are dumb like you... I am not playing this role anymore and guess what, you don't have any other beautiful girls... So all the best with that." She mocked her. "Your play is ruined and Matilda will be proud of after the stunt you pulled last week and got yourself killed." "I don't need you.. I have a new bride."

And I preferred to keep it that way. I shook the thought away as I saw the familiar brick building looming ahead. The college theater was buzzing tonight—Jake and Jace’s class had been working on The Tempest for months, and tonight was their big debut. Jake was playing Prospero, which I found hilarious because he never struck me as the brooding, all-powerful type. Jace, on the other hand, was perfect for Miranda, her twin brother’s total opposite—calm, collected, a quiet force. I smiled thinking of how excited they both must be.

One rough sex could kill that one and yet he was telling me to call any amount and he would pay. At her comment, I gasped, “Guilty? Of what offense?” I asked “You know what! You know what happened last night!” As much as possible, I tried not to act nervous in front of her. Did she know that I am Red Temptress? “Shut up, I know you know everything that happened last night. You think I won't notice that you are the Red Temptress?” Letting out a scoff, I asked with folded hands, “What is Red temptress?”

I met Tempest's gaze for a moment, and to my surprise, she gave me a soft, knowing smile before inhaling deeply and turning back to the crowd, blinking several times to stop the rush of fatigue threatening to put us all to sleep from overpowering her. Troy nudged me gently as I began to nod my head, unable to keep my eyes open. "How much longer is this going to take?" I yawned, narrowing my eyes at him. "Tempest is going to marry Rowan and Hanna, and then it's over," Troy replied in a hushed whisper as a few people turned to stare in our direction. And he was right. After a few minutes more of the elder's monotonous speech, Tempest stepped forward. A silly hat was placed on her head, and she

Chapter Seventy-seven [ The soundtrack when Tempest] Ernest recalls the Bible verses in which Jesus exhorts His disciples to have courage during a storm while they are fishing on a boat. Jesus calms the storm while teaching His disciples to have faith. Later, Ernest remembers the song and plays it for his family on his smartphone. “When the storm is raging high, I won’t run, I won’t hide. Every trial, every fight is a call to stand and rise. Not by might and not by sight, but by faith I press ahead.

I'm standing backstage in the strip club hearing hoe I'm introduced. "Our next performer is one in a million she's sexy, feisty and knows how to please a man give it up for The Seductive Temptress." the dj yells over the microphone and my music starts playing. I slowly walk from behind the curtains the men are shouting and howling at me. I appear on stage and make my way to the pole. All eyes are on me but I shut them out concentrating on the music I start to move my hips to the rhythm.

He let out a rough grunt, feeling tingles run down his entire body. She flicked her tongue along his pulsating shaft, causing his body to shiver in uncontrollable pleasure. Damn, where did she learn to do stuff like this? Thanks to the tips she got from the internet, she has him right where she wanted him. There was no resisting this, he was gonna screw her today. He had no control over his body anymore. She was his TEMPTRESS and he was now under her control. She knew how and where to touch him that would make him squirm in voluptuousness.

he answered curtly. "James, you will be joining us for supper at the club tonight at 7," his mother stated sternly. A dial tone followed immediately after. James hung up the phone and groaned. Damn her. James was contemplating his options when a voice came over the intercom that sounded far too young to be the voice of his secretary Mrs. Babbitt. "Mr. Banscroft your 11 o'clock just called to cancel." James stared at the intercom for a minute before remembering Mrs. Babbitt was out for a month and she had requested a temp before she left. The temp! Before he could talk himself out of his stupid idea James pressed the intercom button. "That's alright, thank you. Can you come in to my office fo
