It was so ridiculous. Eagle squeezed his eyes for a moment, rephrasing his sentence. “I, hereby, The Emperor of the Underworld is declaring my own death to you guys. This emperor also will be buried at a secret place where no one can access it and will disappear from their sight. The end.”

I couldn’t help but ask. One of the guys turn and I’m instantly drawn to his eyes. The same blue eyes I saw three years ago. “We have every right to be here. Who exactly are you?” he asks. This asshole’s entitlement. I watch him take my sour gummies in his massive over grown hands and swallow them. This behemoth just ate my gummies. He just at my sweets. “Hey! Those are mine. Don’t eat those...” I say with a frown. “Oh yeah? What makes you think you’re entitled to anything in my dressing room?” he asks.

Get as much as you can. "Seems like you're not used to things like this," he murmured close to my ear just before a guest moved toward us. "I'm fine." I kept my chin level, my voice smooth. "Watch me handle it." He smiled for half a second, and I hated myself for noticing. This asshole should not be allowed to look like that. I shut it down fast. He kills innocent people. Don't forget it. "Princess," his voice dropped into a softer version. It made my skin crawl. I plastered on a smile and thought of Kael, holding the image there like a shield. For a second, it almost worked.

"The reason is simple, I am the emperor of Clausius empire, also the evident fact that you are in my territory gave me the right to do an investigation on you, who look like a suspicous person that could have been send to kill me." "I told you there's no way I could have tried to kill you...." she said with an exasperated tone but she didn't finish because of the word he said, that took her interest. "Wait! did you say empire?" "Yes." He replied with indifference. "How? since when? I know that there was three kingdom, the Clausius, the Munoa and the Oasius kingdom....but when did it change like that." She said with her eyes wides, and slightly parted lips, showing her surprise.

Caleb ignored that part, his attention soon homing in on the mention of Corvus. "What are the other nations of Middleton?" he asked. "There are three empires—the Kuat Empire, the Jormund Empire, and the Corvus Empire! Each of them is backed by a Sanctuarian clan or sect." Caleb nodded thoughtfully. The empires would definitely be more powerful than fiefs like Zoronda and Danmarch. That was why they were called empires! Fafnir watched Caleb just then. "What's on your mind, boss?"
