[Elara's POV] He had kicked the sturdy timber dining table, causing me to jump as it fell to the wooden floor with a loud thud, shaking the decorations in the glass case. "What about you?" He shouted. "You simply wanted to be Luna, right? You knew Natalia and I were in a relationship, yet you shamelessly accepted the marriage and betrayed your own cousin sister by stealing her boyfriend! You lied to me. She told me everything!" I couldn't believe my cousin-sister. I had never thought she would do this. "I'm so sorry," I cried, starting to sob as I hugged myself tightly.

Her hands moved steadily, her expression serene, as if she were deaf to everything happening behind her. “Look at her still pretending. Let’s see how long you can keep that up,” Luna thought bitterly. “Sister, you’re here,” Luna said sweetly as she walked up to her. Gesturing toward the man beside her, she introduced, “Let me introduce you. This is my boyfriend, Julian Carter, the current president of Carter Group.”

She didn't want to waste any more time on him. "Let's just go," she said, her voice flat. "Alright," Halsey and Cecelia agreed. The three of them left, and Stanley remained on the couch, his expression darkening as he masked the lust that flickered in his eyes. Just then, Zayn entered and reported in a low voice, "Mr. Hawk, I've found something." Stanley looked up. "Go on." "It turns out Luna has a boyfriend in the countryside. He loves her very much, and he works the dirtiest and hardest jobs on a construction site to earn money so she can go to college. They've been sleeping together, and the child in Luna's belly is his."
