Dumeny sighed and looked back from the corner of the eye before opening the gate. Both of us walked down the stairs and soon we were on the crossroads. There were two ways to go from. I looked at Dumeny's back. he stood silently at the middle of the both ways. he hesitated for a moment as if contemplating his decisions, outweighing benefits and losses. With the final long sigh, he shook his head and walked towards the right passage. I followed him silently not uttering a single word. We reached finally at the end of the tunnel and my breathed caught in my mouth as I looked at the man chained down at the middle of the room.

"In the tunnel in the storage room." There, I did my due diligence. I wasn't a complete idiot. Well, maybe I was. I clutched my purse tight to me and headed for the tunnel. Perhaps I was just overreacting. I stood in front of the dark tunnel. It seemed cold. I brought up the flashlight from my keys and stepped forward into it. After a little way, there was a metal spiral staircase. I took the steps one at a time as I tried to see lower. The staircase must have dropped two stories before it finally spilled out onto level ground. The tunnel continued forward. Maybe I should turn back. I hadn't found anything interesting yet. I should go just a little further.

I gasped and looked at Dad. "It's a secret tunnel." He informed me with a grin. I grinned back at him, feeling a little excited. We entered the tunnel and then followed it further underneath the ground. About five meters into the tunnel we stopped and stepped outside again. I stood still, breathing heavily, taking everything in. This place was even more beautiful underground. The walls were made of dark red bricks and were lit by torches which were hanging in the middle of the tunnel. There were wooden beams holding up the roof and they seemed stable enough.
