Her Turn to Lead

Her Turn to Lead

The entire hall fell into dead silence. Adrian froze mid-motion, his wine glass suspended in the air, the smile on his face stiffening. Harvey jerked his head up, eyes wide in shock, and Jenna stood there with her mouth slightly open, her unfinished words caught in her throat. Then the camera flashes came again. This time, every lens was trained on me. I turned, met every gaze in the room, and walked up onto the stage. Taking the microphone from my father, I said, "Thank you, Dad, for your trust. I'll prove myself with the results of the next project."

Tables Turned

Tables Turned

"You're offering scraps nobody wants. Only now you're feeling regret? Her misery is your doing. Just go back. She'd be sick just looking at you. And her name is Rose, not Caroline. At the trial, bring back what you took. It's the least you owe her." There I was, in the institute, going through my last blood transfusion. I looked like death — pale and hollow-eyed — but my eyes sparkled with hope. The doctors said that after this, they would focus on my legs. My blood was finally clean. If my legs healed, I could have a whole new beginning. While I was stationed, I happily listened to the caregivers spin tales from far and wide. Sometimes, they would wheel me out to see the fresh blooms, a rem

Wedding Turned into Mourning

Wedding Turned into Mourning

He built a small villa by his children's graves, wanting to spend his remaining days near them. I took the family crest, my eyes stinging, swearing to honor his trust. Under his iron-fisted mentorship, I became a force in the boardroom. Whispers of doubt faded as I wielded my authority like a blade. On trial day, John and I stood at the plaintiff's bench, watching Gail's tormentors sentenced one by one. They wept, begging for mercy, but regret couldn't undo their crimes. Their lives would be a prison of their own making.

THE TURNAROUND CEO

THE TURNAROUND CEO

“He treated me like trash, he deserved it. I used to be the CEO’s mute wife now i'm the CEO myself. I don’t care how anyone feels about it.” A murmur rippled through the crowd. “This is a turnaround case. You’re now the turnaround CEO. Congratulations, Miss Winter,” one of them said. I gave a small, controlled smile. “Thank you.” They backed off, the flashing slowly dying as my staff looked on, whispering. Axel’s eyes were glassy, humiliation etched into every line of his face. “You all should get back to work!” I snapped. They scattered instantly with a chorus of “Yes, ma’am.”

Love Me Then Destroy Me

Love Me Then Destroy Me

I replied. That was the shift. Not loud, not explosive, not any of the dramatic forms that turning points are supposed to take in the stories we tell about them. Just a sentence, offered plainly, that carried more weight than any argument would have. For a moment nobody spoke. The room held all three of us in a kind of suspended stillness, as though the air itself was waiting to understand what had just happened and what would follow. Adrian breathed out slowly, his gaze moving between Elias and me again. This time there was no pretense of ease in it, no performance of unconcerned confidence. Just clarity - the kind that arrives when there is no longer any point in maintaining the version of

There's No Turning Back

There's No Turning Back

However, she knew it would be pointless at that moment. Elara turned around and looked at the wishing tree and all the prayers on it. "Have you made a wish here before?" "Yeah, I did." She smiled with a pale face. "We can't force a person to love us, so I should've let go sooner and not have any wishful thinking." "It's never too late to turn back," Theodore said casually, and it felt relaxing to hear his voice. Elara looked at him, and he looked away from her instead. As he turned his head away, there were countless thoughts behind his gaze.

How Angie didn’t know who that Elara was Luna, or that she won the maths competition if Rosalie kept her update on Elara? You missed the plot here ...‍♀️ Release the chapters before you lose more money as people like me will stop reading right now . A bit of respect for us please. Tks

I'm not gonna lie. This story does have skippable parts (I skipped the first 60 or so chapters and still figured stuff out fine. I also skip the child heavy chapters that don't include Harvey/Niamh). But this story really gets hilarious around chapter 280ish. Like the unhinged shit starts happening

Return of the Abandoned Wife

--- And as the system pulsed stronger— As unseen hands reshaped its pathways— As the balance they had fought for faced its first true fracture— One final truth emerged: --- A turning moment is not defined by what happens… --- But by what you choose to do when everything begins to change.

No Turning Back

"She—" "Betrayed you?" I turned off the recording. "Just like you betrayed me." "Interesting?" Dante knelt on the ground, his body weak, utterly defeated. "I really... have nothing left..." he mumbled. "No," I corrected him. "You still have your life." "Though I don't know how long you can keep it." As soon as I finished speaking, the sound of car engines came from a distance. Two black SUVs drove into the pier, their headlights blinding.
